So you are saying that they have the same rights given to non profits just like the court did eh? Incorporation (Inc.) is the forming of a new corporation (a corporation being a legal entity that is effectively recognized as a person under the law). The corporation may be a business, a non-profit organization, sports club, or a government of a new city or town. This article focuses on the process of incorporation; see also corporation A family business is a commercial organization in which decision-making is influenced by multiple generations of a family—related by blood or marriage—who are closely identified with the firm through leadership or ownership.
don't incorporate if you want to call it a family business next republicans will be saying corporations have a right to vote in our elections .... and have the right to only give people that vote their way time off to vote .... .
"""this is a corporation, not religious folks...""" Tell that to the Supreme Court.......they don't know that..
Freedom. The left thinks freedom is granted to special classed by government. Individual freedom is something they don't understand.
I never said I hated anything or anybody, but religious people 's first interpretation of anything opposing their views is hate...because it's first and foremost in their minds , and one of only two emotions they have...
LOL, liberals always say they care, but not for freedom, then try and force people to do what they want using force of government. Blocking anything to do that actually helps people is the result. Hatred of business, obsession with race, you name it, the result is division and control.
I did not have Willard's "ultimate conservative idea", the individual mandate, in mind but if you believe the Supreme Court erred in finding it constitutionally valid, you certainly can.
Typical liberal avoidance of responsibility. You would think they would be proud of their authoritarianism but end up hiding behind someone else's skirt.
Every corporation is comprised of people. People who hold stock, people who manage, and people that work. Corporations are not faceless entities ran by robots. Why shouldn't they be able to maintain their faith in their capacity at a corporation? Why should anybody tell them to suspend their beliefs while working?
When discussing WHO should pay for something, you are right. The owner doesn't have to pay for something, for the worker, that goes against their beliefs. Take it away? That sounds an awful lot like entitlement. You know.. health coverage used to be a benefit. Something additional that an employer could provide as a means of compensation to stay competitive. Like most things liberal... they have mandated and forced another entitlement which is the burden of employers, and when liberals don't get what they think they deserve, they yell and scream. This entitlement mentality is simply out of control. If you want contraceptives, and your employer won't pay, go buy them yourself.
The entitlement mentality is at an all time high. This is the repercussion of class war fare engaged by the liberal left. This is exactly how they wanted their robots to react to their propaganda. - - - Updated - - - "Deny and disparage individual liberty" What about the freedom of the owner?
Hmm... I wonder if this means that Chik-Fil-A can refuse to cover AZT or other anti-AIDS drugs because homosexuality is against their religion.

I must say this is a great day for all workers of my soon to be founded new corporation, Pegasus trucking company. As believers in the Mythological creature Pegasus, who we recently came to me in a dream and stated that he was everyone's one true god, I am excited to get this new religion started. As Pegasus and I were flying through the sky during my 7 day fast, he gave to me the great feather of Pegas-laws, and I am thankful for this SCOTUS decision and how it will aid my corporation. Pegasus requires that all followers of his religion must (and this is quoted from the book of Nike, chapter 3, verse "do all great professional work with the utmost speed and efficiency possible, lest ye be damned to the gates of hell, where ye shall take the form of a slug and be asalted daily". Therefore, I am glad to declare that we as a corporation (sic, people) will practice our trucking business/religion whilst disregarding all traffic laws related to stops, speed restrictions and parking. Despite those laws being the passed laws of the land, we can now reference this religious decision as justification to not let US policy trump our religious righteousness. WE WILL NOT SLOW! WE WILL NOT SLOW! WE WILL NOT SLOW! (waits for actual US based Muslim corporation to require all employees to disregard US laws in place of Sharia law. Waits one day later for Fox News to express rage and blame Obama. Waits one day later for posters on this site to completely and blindly agree with Fox News and post 28 hate threads about it...)
Hatred A lable that the radical left keeps trying to pin on republicans. But you can see for yourself in this thread where the hatred is comming from, the radical left. The plain fact is that the democrat party is rapidly becomming THE party of hate.
What a pathetic obsession liberals have with demanding other people spend their hard earned money on bankrupt liberal agendas. Why isn't this argument about who IS responsible to pay for an individual's lifestyle choices? Why do I have to subsidize your BAD choices? Won't that just produce more people making more bad choices? Oh no. That's not how the liberal mind works. They think, "Not me, I'm not responsible. Someone else needs to pay for my choices.. If someone else doesn't pay, my ability to make bad choices is limited because I sure as heck aren't going to take responsibility for them."
Everyone set aside abortion for a second and think about the REAL implications of this decision. The SCOTUS states that a corporation, now known and confirmed by them as a "person" (despite neither Congress nor the president declaring that to be true under ANY parties power throughout our history), can now disregard any section of any law they feel like they want to, as long as they can claim that that law violates their "religious" rights. Understand something conservatives, that means ANY religion. Voodoo, Muslim, Scientologist, even Methodists. If a corporation, for-profit or not for profit, can claim religious oppression due to a federally passed law, they can now bypass those laws. My anger has nothing to do with the religious implications for Christians regarding abortion or anything else. It's the fact that these "people" (corporations) now have to follow the laws of the land even LESS than we the people do. Don't want to pay taxes (even as a for profit company)? No problem. Don't want to pay equal pay for men, women, blacks, Asians and anyone else? No problem. Want to abuse workers through unsafe work conditions, dangerous practices and then simply want the power to toss those hurt workers out on their butts? No problem. This new precedent has opened a Pandora's box none of you truly understand. It sets our individual rights as employees back a century and once again will further the divide between the middle class and the "haves" an even greater amount. And if you don't think that every major corporation in our country doesn't have teams of lawyers working on exploiting this for tax purposes, profits and exploitation of their employees, you are blind or dumb.
I think the problem here is that the majority of liberals have no idea what they are mad about, and a small minority of liberals are manipulating that anger to promote the bankrupt agenda. It's pretend outrage over windmills for morons to tilt at.
