Its very true. Do you happen to know what the US military was doing in 1916 and how many soldiers we had involved in it?

Find out that answer and you will see just how many bayonets were in service back then.

Last night, willard proved himself to be another palin when he said syria was iran's route to the sea. rather than splitting hairs over cutting edge technologies that are horses and bayonets, you people should buy willard a map.

Is it worse to not know the geography of the Middle East or to believe America has 58 States like Obama does?

I agree - McCain played nice last time and look what happened. Romney needs to revamp his campaign, this is ridiculous. Not to mention the 'deaths are optimal' remark? Are you kidding me?

I still can’t get over Obama gesturing to someone in the audience while Romney was speaking. I haven’t seen this covered by the media of course. Everyone had to notice it, he grinned and waved several times like he was taking cues.

That's one thought, but I don't agree. I mean, there's really not much of substance to disagree with there (don't get me wrong, I'm just saying there's no hard reasoning to dispute), but I can respect your opinion.

I think you'd only be right if Romney was behind and Obama had momentum. The opposite is actually true on both accounts. Romney has an edge in the polls (fraction of a point edge in the RCP average, but a couple point edge in the average of the established and accurate polls), and momentum is more easily judged in hindsight, but Romney's had it - and there's no indication that Romney's taken the momentum.

You know...we don't even use Musket balls any more in our military either! Romney wants to increase the deficit for more Musket balls! ROFL!!

When Uncle Ferd an possum go trick-r'-treatin' as Confederate soldiers, dey always ride horses an' carry bayonets...

'Horses and Bayonets' Becomes Quick Hit
October 22, 2012 - U.S. presidential debates are a serious business, but that doesn’t mean a little humor won’t come out of them. The first two debates spawned jokes on the Internet about the popular children’s character Big Bird and the unusual phrase "Binders full of women."
... an' Uncle Ferd always got binders fulla womens.

    Yeah here's the thing.

Our Navy might have less ships that ever before...we still have ten times the number of ships as any other navy on the planet.

That was the reason Romney wimped out because the polls were showing him gaining. Very lame strategy You never quit going after your opponent, simply because you don't know what they have planned in the future. It isn't over until it's over! He should have gone against the grain and grilled Obama on Benghazi and their cover-up. The emails coming out today prove Obama knew it was a terrorist act. That information would have gotten even more support behind Romney.:skull:
