"Hours After Brian Kemp Declined to Overturn Georgia's Election Results, Trump Slammed GOP Governor at Lie-Filled Rally"

"What I need" one journalist said, "is for lawyers who specialize in little-used federal criminal statutes like Sedition to explain to me why a federal official openly seeking to conspire with another federal official to overthrow a democratically elected government isn't a crime."

    https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...n-georgias-election-results-trump-slammed-gop

Yup. That's what the ScumBag-in Chief is doing.... conspiring to overthrow a democratically elected government. And I don't expect this will be the end of DiaperDon's attempts to overthrow the government so he can be a dictator.

The Republicans are no better since they have refused to do their Constitutional duty and uphold their oath for 4 years. They think they will be part of the Trump dictatorship.

Who's the federal official looking to conspire to overthrow the 'democratically elected government'. First off, the new government is sworn in on January 21st, until then the Trump Administration is on its last hurrahs.

What this journalist said, proves that our civics courses are failing us miserably.

The next month is going to get ugly and dangerous, but the democrats must stop at nothing to ensure the constitution is protected from the direct attack of republicans.

Yes, Trump is always skating on thin ice. Soon enough, he will find that very thin ice and he will go under. The Caligulan just does not understand that he is not a King who can do no wrong or who is above the Law.

No one is overthrowing any governments, nor are there any talks(that I know of) of overthrowing governments. It's interesting that in spite of Biden's calls for peace, not even Democrats are helping him to achieve it.

Biden calling for peace, Flynn calling to suspend the Constitution, Trump calling everyone names...

OPEN YOUR EYES. Trump has already mostly accomplished it. He has done such damage that it will probably take years to correct it.

Honestly, I surprised that YOU would say such a thing.

Not at all, there's been no such damage(ironically, coming from the same people who used to argue that Trump was so ineffective that nothing was passing.) I think people hate Trump, the human being so much they'll cling to anything, real or imagined to say he's such a bad, evil character. It's okay, he's gone.

Biden will likely reverse the tariffs, the USMCA is probably here to stay, and that's a lasting legacy that Trump owns(and is a step in the right direction.). Hopefully Biden won't touch the Jerusalem embassy, as I think that has paved the way for a lot of the international agreements in the ME lately.

Trump will historically go down, tweets aside as a pretty good President.

Name all the presidents that lost as an incumbent that is considered a pretty good president. And also, an impeached president.

Whoa there fella. Pres Trump is being a sore loser that's quite obvious. But attempting to overthrow the government? By what? Running his mouth at a rally and ranting on Twitter? Hell, if that's the standard then I think most us on this board would qualify as dictators. So maybe dial it down a bit because its just words. He cant do anything more than talk.

Don't let the sensationalist talking heads whip you into a frenzy, alright? Remember, they're trying to squeeze out the last bit of revenue from 24/7/365 hate era that they can because come January they go back to being boring old state run media. Every one of these 'journalists' /s is trying to stand out in the hopes of surviving the coming cutbacks and near every one of these alt-media blogs is about to fold because the uber-saturated anti-Trump market is living its last days. So, ya know, be objective.

    I would respectfully disagree.

In historical terms, he rates among the lowest of the low.

A bottom tier that includes Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and Trump.

BUT, he does have a very unique place among Presidents.

Dirty donny is not conspiring to overthrow the existing government, but to prevent the swearing in of the duly elected government.
It could very well be a crime, which is one of the reasons he will issue a federal pardon to himself. And most of his folly will cheer him on for his corruption.

We've never had a defeated incumbent give a temper tantrum before, but it's likely not a federal crime. Chill out, let January 20th come and enjoy the Biden Administration. I'm starting to think it's like Apex said, everyone wants to get their last hate/fear-filled speeches in before things "return to normal"(for better or worse)

I guess while Humpty keeps tossing fuel onto the fire, there will be an equivalent response with on going flames. It really is odd. Even the frump Hillary was dignified enough to exist graciously, and content herself with a book. Not the Caligulan!

Calling the governor of GA and asking him to ignore the will of the people could very well be a crime. Both state and federal.

Imagine any other citizen calling the governor and asking him to do that.

Trump is NOW, and Always Has Been, a Disgrace to the Office.

What is Trump planning to do after the Electors Vote for Biden on Dec 14th?

Scream "We Wuz Robbed" until Congress Validates the Electors on January 6th?
