This has to be one of the most scandalous political decisions in history.

The Israel national football team has been incorporated into the UEFA (european football association) Leagues for over a decade now, how has this flagrant perversion of rules gone under the political radar in such a prestigious competition?

Why be upset about Israel and not Kazakhstan or Turkey?
Is there something unique about Israel?
Something not really applicable to the others?

Maybe someone could help us out?

Because part of turkey is physically in europe and so can generally pick and choose depending how they feel. Israel however is not on europes border, syria is closer so should we allow syria if they ask?

Armenia is joined to europe and cyprus can be whoever they wish since they are an island between. Israel is joined to africa and asia but chooses to be european. No logic at all sorry.

Israel is at the crossroads between Africa, Asia and Europe. They can choose whatever they want.

the Arab and Muslim nations refuse to play with them.

so, they chose Europe instead of Africa and Asia.

It's hard to play ball with your neighbour when you were at war with all of them.

A significant percentage of Israelis left Europe to go to Israel.

Annual Jewish exodus from France to Israel has fallen by half, but relationship remains strained

There was an active policy of reconciliation after ww2 and anyway germany still belonged to the same religious-culturel area than its neighbour.
For Israel, the conflict is still very much alive even if there is no open war. There is a deep anti Israelian that associate with an extremely violent anti semitism in the muslim world, even if there is a tiny jewish morrocan community remaining. In 1950, the war was over and de nazification helped. De Gaulle promoted friendship with germany and Adenauer.
Israel doesn't belong to the islamic world. It doesn't belong either to the christian one but a large part of Israelian population came from europeanized background.

In a surprizing manner, the world changed a lot in 75 years. Who would have believed that the world is a complexe ever changing place ?
Yes for a long time islamic places were much safer than christian places, but things change.
There was the case if that old jewish lady that survived a famous operation where many jews were arrested by french authorities under nazi controle, it was called "la rafle du vel d'hiv". The lady survived that, but she ended brutally murdered by an islamic terrorist. How terrible to survive the nazi and die under the next great evil.

Imagine for a moment what would happen if the Israeli team was competing in a league with ten or more Islamic nations?

Good point... and I do have a suggestion on what they might just be able to use to begin a serious discussion...... An ancient Islamic prediction that fits perfectly with Isaiah chapter thirty five.

    Book 005, Number 2208:
"Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying: The Last Hour will not come before wealth becomes abundant and overflowing, so much so that a man takes Zakat out of his property and cannot find anyone to accept it from him and till the land of Arabia becomes meadows and rivers."
SAHIH MUSLIM, BOOK 25: The Book on General Behaviour (Kitab Al-Adab)

After the Abraham Peace Accord turn deserts green...

The "not as bad as Hitler" defense does not make the claim false.

It is amazing what some people get all balled up on. My question to you why do you even care? The people who run it and the countries who are associated with it are fine with it. Is the n anti jew thing?

When was that? because if you're referring to world war II all international sports competitions were canceled during the war.
