Since Christmas I've went from' Fearing I had Covid-19 up until February, then I went deaf in one ear on the 19h of February with either ear wax or an ear infection (or both) which lasted until yesterday (pretty much); and last night I gave myself Gamer's Thumb (external tendinitis) (Since it turns out that playing Xbox One all day isn't a healthy past time to distract from an ear infection/ear wax problems). I've had Otomize ear spray for my ear, and today I had to take myself to A&E (NHS/British for ER) to minor injuries for Naproxen anti inflammation medicine and a thumb splint. I don't take my hearing or my opposable thumbs for granted anymore but I remain thankful for only having these minor issues/injuries. That's me though, medically, how are you? The 'How Are You?' Thread.
I am racked with either allergies/sinuses or COVID, but other than that, fit as a fiddle. When I don't want to go somewhere, it could be COVID. When I have things to do, it is just allergies.
My misspent youth caught up with me a few years ago. I'm 86. I've had two heart attacks and a I have a bad case of arthritis in my spine. My mobility is limited. I can walk well enough to get around comfortably in our two bedroom apartment but I use a mobility scooter for going outside for any distance at all. Just today I ordered an electric lift that will allow my scooter to be picked up out the back of our Honda CR-V and carried inside the car which will make it a lot easier for me to get my scooter in and out of the car any time we go shopping, picnicking, to the zoo or wherever. Thankfully my wife and I both have our wits about us and are grateful for everything we have.
