This incompetent increased America's debt by 9 trillion dollars after accusing President Bush of being "irresponsible and unpatriotic" for increasing it by a paltry 1 trillion dollars.

 

He still owns you guys, huh?

Obama was terrible at controlling threat - but ...

Bush increased the debt by $5.85 trillion (101% increase) - not the $1 trillion you claimed.

Trump is on track to increase the debt by $5 trillion in his first term, so you must think Trump is really incompetent ... unless you're just posting hyperbolic bull crap. And Obama wouldn't have the money to buy that $15 million dollar house if it wasn't for Trump cutting taxes for the wealthy.

Weird that the progressive left flips their lid at a perceived Trump lie, but Obama lying throughout his entire presidency and is is given accolades by the left.

You think that repeating "scandals" from the extreme-right media that were confirmed even by Republicans to be fake is going to put a dent in Obama's legacy?

Obama had no significant real scandals. Brought us out of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and created an economy so solid that not even Trump, through both blunders and deliberate attempts, has managed to debilitate... yet.

Sorry, but you picked the wrong guy to try to compare with Trump's incompetence and dishonesty. Why don't you try somebody more like Trump? Maybe... John Gotti. That's it! You might even make a case that Trump is not as bad as Gotti. But Obama is waaay out of you guys' league.

Of course! If we were to ignore his record, his enormous popularity would be puzzling to anybody. Rarely seen in a President right after he has left office.

When Obama took office, my 401k was down 22% and the value of my house had dropped nearly 30%. We were deep into two wars and a number of economists were predicting a possible depression - not just a recession. The GDP was a NEGATIVE 2.4%.

Nine months after Obama took office, the GDP return to positive numbers and stayed that way. By the time Obama left office, my home value rose back to it's pre-recession value, my 401k rose to new highs, unemployment dropped from 9% to 4.8%, and the wars were pretty much wrapped up.

While I would not claim Obama was a great President, he did OK starting from from a very rough position. And he seems to be a decent family man.
That's why I mostly liked Obama. Not because of the press. Because of actual return in my pocketbook.

 

I think Obama’s interior policy was not that bad (closing my eyes on anti-white racism). But his foreign policy sucked - he dropped the ball on Syria and Ukraine. He is responsible for the rise of Russia, which will be a major headache for quite a while.

 

Anti white racism = white supremacists butt hurt they are not succeeding.

 

What would YOU have done re: Syria and the Ukraine?

 

With Syria - I wouldn’t draw any red lines. Not following through on the threat resulted in emboldened Syria and Russia. Obama couldn’t figure out if he wants us to be part of that war or not, which resulted in half-arsed crap.
As for Ukraine - during Crimea occupation the US could cripple Russian banking system by throwing Russia out of swift and visa and imposing sanctions on countries that buy Russian gas. The inability of Russian elite to access their money would quickly upset them and Pootin would face serious pressure to roll back on Crimea.
Just like with Syria - Obama did a half-arsed job which resulted in emboldened Russia.
And why couldn’t he stop Russian meddling in our elections?

 

There is nothing wrong with voicing concerns about anti-white racism. Doesn’t make you a white supremacist. Just like speaking out against black racism doesn’t make you a black supremacist.

 

However, just about every time I hear someone going on about anti white discrimination, it tends to sound a lot like quite the opposite. It may be that all those White conservatives who complain about the browning of America are just pretending that they are being discriminated against, because brown and Black people are citizens.
