Under Obama our foreign relations are in a shambles. Among other nations in the world they look at Obama as being a bad joke.

I could say point that finger towards Ben Shalom Bernanke.

 

Anti semitism aside, bernacke doesn't get to operate in a bubble, he has to consider current political policies too. Raising the interest rate while deficits were growing is a dangerous thing.

 

He has the say in terms of economics,
his statement would either make stock markets rise or fall.
He is the brain about monetary matters and should make that sound assessment.

 

And he is trying to do the best he can with some horrible political policy. He has to monetize a ton of debt he had no control over when it was spent. He is letting rates go up now, stopped QE. I am not a fan of what has happened with bailouts and the like, but he is doing OK so far. We often blame the fed for the actions it takes without rememberin they have to do these things because of the situation forced on them.

 

Just thought this was worth revisiting since the state of the economy has proven the OP entirely false.

Sorry ,but you have at least 7 or 8 more years of this, but that's a conservative(no pun intended) estimate. Get used to it. He's the worst president in history. Your eyes are glued shut. IMO, Bush was the worst POTUS ever,but you have to combine some GOP Senators &some of the GOP Congress with helping Bush orchestrate the biggest rape on our country,EVER-I will bash Bush every chance I get, & it is not a dead horse,because what his(Bush) administration did to our country,never needed to happen-it was pure GREED. There is a commision report out there to back up my accusations----
If I have one bone to pick with the OBAMA administration is that he "didn't" bring charges against the perpetrators of the rape of our country,starting with Bush,Cheney, Gramm,Bliley,Wall Street CEO's,Enron Ceo's---the list goes on to include not more than a couple thousand people-
So, speaking of eyes being glued shut----Recently elected GOP Congressman Grimm--19 indictments against him for tax evasion-he still got elected by an overwhelming majority of GOP voters-pleaded guilty only AFTER he got re-elected-was only forced to step down by Boehner because of extreme pressure--& rumor has it,that one of the biggest thiefs is wanting to run for POTUS again---Romney----anyone see a pattern here!!!!

 

What is so great about the economy?

If by 'economy' you mean the "rich elite's" economy, you might have a legitimate proclamation. Saw several gleeful idiots tooting the Obama horn as if this country was on top of the world again, which couldn't be further from the truth.

These two parties have cooked more books in the last few decades than the Nazi's ever thought of burning. The 'great pencil whipped plutocracy' would be a better title for the story that is actually going on here.
