There are not "many" and they are not direct. "I am" is not Gods name. Your teachers are lying to you again.

You do not even give the passage where you claim he calls himself the name of God ? Jesus says "I am" many times as it is a common linguistic term.

What kind of a response is this ? Did you even read the info about the proceedings at Nicea ?

It is truly amazing what a brainwashed soul will come up with in order to distort reality.

You do not cite one piece of evidence in support of your opinion nor respond to the plethora of evidence I presented yet you spout an opinion as if it should be taken seriously.

Would you take an opinion given on such a flimsy basis seriously ?

Well, what can I say. You are committed to unbelief, I guess I can at least say that. Sad.

I've always believed that the burden of proof rests with the part of the affirmative. IE: You want to prove something, you gather the evidence and construct your argument based on the results. Based on that premise, I don't believe it is illogical to believe that something does not exist without evidence, so I will have to respectfully disagree with you on that point. But I will agree with you that atheism takes faith in the same way disbelief in Santa Claus does. I've never seen Santa Claus, and I've never seen God. I am open to the possibility that they may exist, but I would be very surprised if they did. In this regard, I've always considered myslf a skeptic rather than an atheist. That said, some years I have been a very very bad boy and have still gotten some really nice Christmas presents, so there is alwyas hope.

I am not committed to ignorance, that is for sure. Sad is that you can not produce a passage from the Bible that supports your position.

Is there something wrong with the various Bible translations on the internet ?

From my vantage point it does not seem like you get much information other than from your local religious leader. At least using the internet you could discover things for yourself.

When the mind wants to hide from information that conflicts with religious beliefs it will conjure up almost any excuse.

I could, I should, but I won't. Casting pearls before swine kind of thing.

Sure he did. He said, paraphrased, I have read many books and studied with great biblical teachers. Of course, no names or references. Just take him at his word.

As expected. Your truth is no better or worse than anyone else's truth. Or mine, for that matter.
    Have a nice life.

Demonization of the messenger (swine) is a method used by cults in order to help the minds of adherents cope with information that conflicts with religious beliefs.

All I have done is quote various Bible passages to you in relation to salvation and share some Bible history.

That you are so conflicted by information I presented from the Bible that you would call me a Pig says much about the foundation for your religious belief.

Jesus says to build your house on rock and not on sand.

If one conflicting idea endangers the entire foundation for one's belief then that house has little structural integrity. It is a house built on sand.

It is not at me that your anger should be directed, it is at these false teachers that teach this doctrine with no foundation.

What kind of Christian doctrine has its adherents so afraid of the Bible that they demonize people that quote it ?

So is everyone else's interpretation of the truth.

The sad thing is that you do not know what I mean, instead, thought it was an insult. The rest, I let lie.

Interpretation? It says what it says.

I know exactly the passage means and it is a form of demonization. Rather than face ideas that conflict with cult doctrine the adherent will engage in all kinds of avoidance tactics.

Demonization of the messenger is a common one. Black vs White, Good vs Evil, God vs Devil. Cult doctrine is good, anything contradictory is evil and comes from the Devil.

Don't confuse Gods truth with mans truth. Only false prophets claim to speak for God according to the words of Jesus

When was Adam and Eve created? IE how long ago?
    We'll start simple.
I know an exact date is not given but thru lineage and genealogy a fairly accurate date can be determined.

The folks under cult mind control do not understand that sophisticated techniques have been used on them.

I say the same thing when I hear folks claiming to speak for or know the mind of God.
