How come Israel is at >10% covid vaccination rate vs. <1% US

Israel is at >10% vaccination rate already, with > 1 million people already vaccinated.

In contrast, the US is at <1% vaccination rate with just north of 2 million vaccinations. What happened? I thought the US was the best with operation warp speed? It rather seems that the vaccine rollout has been botched majorly in the US. That's not surprising with the commander in chief being focused on overturning the election rather than fighting covid.

 

The US prepaid for 3 times the number of doses of the delayed oxford vaccine than it did the Pfizer one. The Pfizer/Moderna jabs are technically too complicated on the storage and distribution side due to the superchilling necessary. We will get there eventually.

 

Warp speed turns out to be slower than ****.

Hell, they can probably toss the vaccine from one end to the other. Why do you think it wouldn't be quicker when it's so much smaller?

 

Yeah, they are 40-times less population than the US, but have only 2-times less vaccines administered. Your excuse won't fly.

No country in the world has handled every aspect of the pandemic as poorly as we have, our total cases and deaths speak for themselves. Why should we expect the distribution of the vaccine be any different.

 

Except that the left doesn't hate Israel. Personally, I have been to the country many times and have friends there.

 

The feds got the vaccine out to the states. The states are falling down on getting it done. Israel not have this problem of feds handing it off to the states. The cold storage of the Pfizer vaccine is proving to be a problem along with the states not having sufficient people to administer to other medical needs plus the vaccine. At least that is what I heard from our local clinic.

 

Only reason I have ever seen is the Palestine issue.
Most people — even those on the left — don’t hate them, we just don’t think the US should be sending them foreign aid and treating them better than we do our own citizens.

Trump has clearly checked out since he lost the election. Blaming it on the States, is passing the buck and just another reason to be happy that he will be gone in three weeks.It’s still early in the game , hopefully we get up to speed before too many of us die in Trumps world.

U.S. Jews in the Democrat Party aren't religious Jews. Their religion is THE DEMOCRAT PARTY.
