Oh, the Republicans are extremely stupid. However, what does that say about the Democrats that they could possibly lose to an imbecile like Trump? It's embarrassing. We are talking about Donald Trump of all people. He's EASILY beatable...and yet the Dems nominate a candidate many in their own party couldn't stand. Now because of that, we have a 70 year old toddler as president. It's sad.

    - - - Updated - - -

Hey, don't be mad at me. It was Donald Trump himself who said the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans.

I just happen to agree with him.

Hey, I'm just agreeing with the president elect that the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans. Are you daring to question what the messiah says?

Nothing against your comments, but I currently am checking out some of Trumps speeches. I tend to drift off if a candidate resort to jingoism or bores me to death.

But his audience, they were raving wild about Trump. I know the public is not real swift, since millions voted for Obama plus later for Hillary, but Trump was spellbinding to his followers. Especially his huge rallies. Hillary was a poor candidate. I think her tactics failed her. She did have audiences, but a lot smaller than Trump had.

I think the best audience will talk to friends and keep bragging how great the candidate is. Hillary was low audience appeal.

I personally first went with Scott Walker ands he fell out. Well, that left me with Kasich. I really like Jeb Bush but figured the public would blame him over their imagined ills of his brother. That to meant to me it took a fresh face of sorts. The regulars kept falling off so it ended up Trump. But he never was my first choice.

I studied Hillary's act and frankly it was weak.

Hardly, look at the GDP charts I posted, even Jimmy Carter did better than Obama.

One needs to be able to understand what they are looking at. Obviously not the case here.

Is that averaging in the slave days? I hear the economy was really humming when we had slave labor like the democrats wanted.

Frankly the economy of G. W. Bush beat Obama's by mile. When he was president, the middle class had opportunity. Sadly they don't under Obama.

I started voting for only Democrats when JFK ran for president. I was so young and naive about things like that, I accepted my parents views at face value. I got to be very devoted to Democrats. I am so ashamed too.

But it never occurred to me that people would claim democrats have the best economy. This argument must be based on younger voters who maybe only know Obama. But they do not know just how great it was during Bush 43.

Bush got a bad rap and only for about a year. But as a lender of home loans along with selling homes, I recall the public was super happy with Bush other than for the war in iraq. Even Obama got away saying he approved the war over in Afghanistan.

So you are calling the president elect who YOU voted for...a liar? lmao, this is too easy.

    - - - Updated - - -

I think...you vote for whoever the GOP candidate is regardless of what their policies or beliefs are.

Heck, if Hillary was the GOP candidate...you would have voted for her.

    - - - Updated - - -

Don't know, but the president elect who you voted for said the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans. Are you saying he's misinformed, or a liar? Surely you jest...

    - - - Updated - - -

Nah, Bush sucked. Trump even agrees with me on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6N8l8DMu3M

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGM3cUMhrs4

    This is too easy...lmao.

And what young people are you talking about? Trump was damn near 60 when he said the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans. I know he's an immature man child, but come on...

Well, maybe you agree with Trump more than I do. I suspect that since NY City is a essential stronghold of Democrats, maybe he believes that or is kissing up to Democrats. Even in my area, we are a super Democratic party area. But i am far too old to be fooled by such talk.

There is no accounting for some who claim the economy does best with democrats. They have no clue how to make their case.

Some go "wall, looke here" They examine the economy as if politics makes a good economy. Politics is all about government and not economy.

There are essential fundamentals of the economy and when guys like me have a hard time, I don't care if the rich own stocks or not. They get rich and that factors into the economy, but the typical person is not doing all that well.

Frankly if things were better off with Democrats, i know for a fact i never would have left the Democratic party and started voting for Republicans,. I spent as an adult 20 years devoted to Democrats and wised up that they did not help me in the economy one bit.

So Trump was kissing up to Democrats in 2004, but stopped in 2015-2016?

Seems to me that Trump was being unbiased and looking at the facts. He wasn't running for political office at the time, he was just giving his opinion on things as an American citizen.

You talk out two sides of the same face.

First you brag about Trump and appear to be twice as loyal to him as i am.

Next you call him petty names.

You sound like a true Trump supporter. According to you, the man is very accurate.

    Follow my color code.

I have been quite open and explained I have 20 full years where i voted just for Democrats. Were they better for the economy, there is no camel on this planet that could have yanked me from the arms of the Democrat. I have followed Hillary Clinton since about 1991 and lost total faith in her acumen.

Second point, you brag up Trump over the economy and keep bragging just what a wonderful man he is that he was kind to democrats. Bear in mind I also told you, clearly and frankly that Trump never was my number one. But Hillary was so low on the totem, she probably was imbedded in the soil. She is that low in my view

I don't hold a 8-4 pm job. I have been completely self employed since 1967. I don't collect paycheck each Friday. i actually am in the economy as only the self employed are. We want a raise? We stare at the mirror and tell the face we see, I want a raise. Then we get to work and get our own raises.

Now when i was a manager for a construction firm, one of the major firms, I had to look at the VP to see if he would pay me more. And if he did not want to pay me more, I changed companies and kept voting for Democrats.

I probably voted for more Democrats who became president than you have. I have done my hitch for Democrats.

Speaking only of the middle class, during Bush, they had more cash in their bank. They had job security. They were setting records for owning homes. As for me, I was rolling in money. Obama wanted laws passed to essentially shut us down.

We got the blame for what Democrats did. No, i do not like them.

All i can tell you is you are a true Trump fan. more of a fan than I happen to be. i hope he works out. But my choice was taken out by the voters kind of early on. i changed to Kasich and he was not on the November ballot.

You don't have to be a Trump fan to agree with a few things he has said.

The difference between Trump now and ten years ago is that ten years ago he wasn't running for political office, and thus could give his opinions in an unbiased manner. Now? He has to pretend to be some faux champion of conservatism to appeal to the rubes who voted for him.

    - - - Updated - - -

I didn't care for either one.

I checked out Obama's bragging about himself and it was about 52 minutes. So yes, he takes a lot more than 140 characters to brag.

Well thus far we ruled out Hillary since most of your bragging is pro Trump.
But since you now claim both did not appeal to you, and we only had him and her, you must be thankful she lost.

I mean had you liked her, you would brag on her and not Trump.

Ah! Well, that explains why the right could not keep up - they lost interest after the first ten words

That and the fact Obama uses polysyllables

You have bragged so much about Trump you passed me up long ago. I have put in next to no time in bragging how astute Trump is and how as a civilian he did not like Bush.

i liked Bush. To dislike Bush only means the poster lacks honest evaluation skills.

Obama fools a lot of people due to his bragging skills.

But have you seen how he is when his teleprompter quits? Let me kindly say it one more time Obama falls into a trance and mumbles while they fix his teleprompter. Maybe you are impressed by mumblers who use the teleprompter as a kind of reader.

Bush was a Texas foksy type. But Obama puts Bush to shame bv always bragging.

Bush was an actual leader who spent no time bragging.

LOL, let me break this down for you:

    1. I don't like Hillary or Trump, and I wouldn't have been happy with either winning. That said, I loathe the conservative ideology, specifically social conservatism, and even though Trump is no conservative, he was, in fact, elected by self proclaimed "conservatives".

    2. I happen to agree with Trump, the civilian, that Bush was a horrible president, and that the economy does better under Democrats than Republicans. When Trump made these statements, he was NOT running for political office. Thus, they were likely far more sincere than anything he has said since 2015.

How again did Bush cause the housing bubble? Might want to rethink who forced those banks give loans to the poor unfortunates. Read up kiddo. Read up.

Yeah Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics

He avoids the fact that he and his fellow Democrats took control of government two years before he moved over to the White House so he can start his "statistics" at the end of the recession and after they had taken the deficit from $161B to $1,400B for instance. Or that it took almost 8 years to see those incomes rise and only after the Republicans took back control. Or his favorite the 75 months of job growth first we needed to create all those jobs in the first place because he and his fellow Democrats did nothing to mitigate the losses in the first place. Then the statistical trick that had the economy created just one single job each of ththose 75 months that statement would still be true but the employment situation would be HORRIBLE. Its the details that matter of which most are ignorant. That's why he geta aaway with it.

    Until his teleprompter fails.

And even when its operational he only shines when glorifying himself.

I mean are we really going to praise a narcissist for talking themselves up?

Isn't that the defining quality of a narcissist?

Its been EIGHT YEARS......actually its was TEN YEARS of Democrat control of policy and government. That is not a record of accomplishment he has a record of thinking about things or watching other people do things of watching things and then when things FINALLY start to improve attempts to take credit. Its like Clinton trying to take ccredit for the surpluses.
