Out of random curiosity without any ulterior motives. How many hours have yall worked this week.

I just thought it would be interesting to see what the membership puts in for a work week.

I often average about 80 hours per week. I've done almost 120 hours in a week before [at an average of about $100 per hour :D].

Been there. Still there from time to time.

Im at 103 hours this week and its only Friday (not counting phone calls in the middle of my sleep to answer questions)

If ya don't mind my asking. What do ya do?

Longest week I ever pulled (On the civilian side of things) was 160 hours (theres 168 hours in a week). But I was rig welding. Had to quit that or I'd of developed a meth habit.

I have an engineering and consulting company. I put in my longest hours doing field work when I first started out.

I have started to hallucinate when working with 480 [VAC] Volts A.C., 3-phase systems. That's the worst of it. Working till you drop in the office is one thing. But when I was younger I was working ungodly hours in situations where one mistake can kill you or someone else. But I learned to triple check myself as a practice when I started getting tired. I never did make any really bad mistakes.

One time, I had to think long and hard to recall if green meant "running" or red meant "running"... or :not running".

I've done 35 hours straight, then five hours of sleep, and then 25 hours or so straight. That was my worst experience.

I started up a precision machine and fabrication shop a half decade ago.

Was fortunate. I got a job with a company that made food cans working as a millwright. Had an idea that would save them a bunch of money. Now we're supplying that idea to a couple thousand factories. As well as other little odds and ends to stay diverse.

Worst week I think was my first time in Afcrackistan. After four days with no sleep I guess I went on autopilot. I don't rember but bits and pieces of the rest.

Excellent! Nothing better than stepping up to the plate and hitting a home run.

I work on UPS systems. I typically work 50 hour weeks, but I had a slow week and only worked 34 hours this week. My busiest time was 15 years ago in New Orleans for 2 weeks. I worked 83 hours the first week and 82 hours the next week. My longest shift was 36 hours straight. I flew from Dallas to San Jose, worked all night at the job, and came straight back home that morning.

Retired working zero. I retired three years ago almost three years before I was expecting to. I had a Micro lab and did all the seed growth, grew the inoculum, serviced the same for a pilot plant for new product development or improvement, and most of the in process control testing for fermentation processes. Worked ~55 -60 hrs. a week on average with call in for problems or to initiate a growth. The business grew steadily and beginning in 2014 another process would start and my workload would increase by an estimated 30% and I was already at the point were when someone remarked that they were glad it was finally Friday, all I thought was; Oh no, it's almost Monday as I had to spend a couple of hours at work once or twice during the weekend and still had an extra heavy workload every Monday. Weighed my options and decided there was more to life than I can see from a windowless lab 70 hrs. a week or more!

I'm actually taking tomorrow off and speaking at my boys school. They the three of us will be spending the afternoon and evening working on the older ones car.
