Wow! ^^ that's ^^ some nice non sequitur word salad you have there! "Moot" because the DRAFT was the topic YOU chose? I tend to agree ... BUT ... you ASKED for replies to that specifically. You got 'em, enjoy 'em. ::): BTW, you have a bit of that word salad stuck to your teeth ... it's embarrassing.

Different folks living in a different era. The so called greatest generation, the ones who lived through the Great Depression and won WWII were very patriotic and willing to make whatever sacrifice and do anything for the country. They believed in the good old USA. That began to change with my generation, I was born right after WWII. I think folks my age remember JFK stating, "Do not ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." If he said that today, he'd be laughed right out of town.

Everyone today expects the country to take care of them, quite a lot from cradle to grave without them giving the country nothing in return. Patriotism is a thing of the past. Self-interest has come to rule the day. We no longer trust our leaders, in fact we down right despise many of them. I suppose there is a million reasons for that. But I firmly believe that most of the folks alive today wouldn't bother to defend this country if it were invaded. That would be someone else's job and responsibility. Just give me mine and leave me alone.

Not at all. You just showed that you couldn't even defend your own position, nor explain why you supported someone who actually ran on engaging in a military confrontation with Russia, for, as far as I can tell, absolutely no US national interest.

I would still like to know why you supported getting into a war with Russia over Syria, but I've asked that question more than once in this forum and get a similar dodge of the question and vanishing from the topic.

Ummmm. It's been the violent leftists wanting war though. They are actually still whining about Trump pulling most US forces out of Syria. On top of that, Trump hasnt threatened Russia over Facebook and Twitter posts.

You supported Hillary, and Hillary supported a no fly zone in Syria. I don't know how you expected that to end. So yes, you were willing to risk war with Russia for...what exactly?

Yes she would have stood up to Putin, and risked war for what exactly? Since you deem it of vital importance to challenge Putin militarily in Syria, could you explain why that is so important to you? I've never gotten why so many Democrats wanted to charge over John Bolton to get involved in a war in the Middle East by threatening to shoot down the aircraft of a major nuclear power. What was your goal in that?

I couldn't even understand that big fat tub of lard. Maybe if she lost some fricking weight, then she might be able to speak more clearly.

In a poll taken by me, only low watt bulbs put stock in such far off polls. The 5 day forecast is more "accurate".

She ran on engaging in a very specific military policy to establish a no fly zone over Syria. So you support that policy correct?

That must be the popular new meme among the kids, since I've seen it several times this week, but it doesn't have anything to do with Hillary trying to get into a military conflict with Russia and your support of it. That issue you just keep dodging and dodging.

But you can always post another meme. That will show me!

BFD! The bottom line is that YOU expressed a desire to be a contractor for the next bogus military action brought on by the current chicken hawks in charge. You learned NOTHING regarding the Afghanistan and Iraq except to be the good little soldier that never questions orders. Now you imply that you'll condone your son to the same fate....I pray he doesn't come home in a box.

Again, if my opinion of you or in general is of no concern, then why waste time and effort responding? Cranks and ideological blowhards do that. Paid people by right wing PAC's and website owners do that. The readers KNOW what you are, so your job is done. Unless you've got something knew to add, I'll just move on.

Which he never got, thanks to the stone walling GOP. This guy was NOT Putin, ya know. But yet, NO criticism of Trump. Hypocrisy much?

No genius, what you previously stated was a moot point, meaning that it was a basic fact shared by both debating parties that has NO change the conclusions drawn. If you don't understand, toddle down to your local library and let one of the staff explain it to you.

Now that we've cleared your smoke screen, do you care to/can you logicall/factually/rationally answer the previous question? I'll wait.

Hmmm, seems you can't or won't honestly answer the question either. Not surprising. Carry on.

Actually, it's because Vietnam woke up the country to the reality that Eisenhower warned them about...and as the song goes, "...we won't be fooled again!" The bogus invasion/occupation of Iraq clearly demonstrated that indeed you can't trust SOME leaders....the flag waving baloney you previously spewed IGNORES THE REALITY OF RECENT HISTORY. The back door draft (known as stop - loss) was lesson learned, and people aren't stupid. So if the Orange Oaf and his cadre of chicken hawks & imperialists want to start up with Iran, they sure as hell better have an all inclusive draft (no exceptions for the qualified), because as I documented earlier in this thread, we just don't have the sustainable manpower. And if that's okay by you, then BYYYYEE baby!

Sorry, but this tired lie of yours has already been addressed on this thread. Perhaps you should read up on exactly what's being done and what's coming out of the mouths of Trump and Bolton.
