The below listed material exposes how political appointees of the Obama administration weaponized the intelligence community, the FBI, and the Department of Justice to spy on a US Presidential candidate before he was elected, and for the first time in US History, attempted to initiate the removal of a the duly elected US President from office, creating a Constitutional Crisis and by so doing, dangerously dividing the American electorate, by charging that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the presidential election, when the truth is that Hillary Clinton colluded with Russia to create and pay for a false Steele Dossier on Donald Trump.
The article further exposes how the political appointees in the Obama administration in the intelligence community, employed the fraudulently created Steele Dossier, funded by the Hillary Presidential Campaign and the Democratic Party, whose content were never verified by the political appointees at FBI Headquarters and US Justice Department Headquarters to obtain FISA Warrants. The goal was to unmask hundreds of American citizens, and to also surveil and intercept communications, phone calls, and conversations of members of the Trump Campaign and the Trump Presidential Transition Team in Trump Tower.
The hero in putting an end to these illegal and treasonous actions, at personal risk to his survival, was NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers, USN, who James Clapper tried to prevent from revealing the depth of the conspiracy, and then tried to have him removed from office.

Although this is a repost of an article dated five months ago, it continues to prove true and accurate today. The only characters not included in the collage below are Clapper, Brennan
When the full story of the attempted 'Deep State' coup d'état of President Trump is fully exposed, Admiral Michael Rogers will be recognized as one of America's greatest patriots in American history.
Each day that goes by we continue to find just how much the previous administration and Progressive Marxist Socialist Democrats have been criminally involved in this failed attempt to topple President Donald J. Trump.

Good post in general but your arrow is off target.

The "deep state - bureaucratic elite" is not just a function of Blue. The Establishment elite come in both colors.

At the top of the food chain are the international financiers who influence the Political and Bureaucratic elite.

Sorry about that, when I write of the "Deep State" I include both the Left and the Right, especially RINO's and we do have a lot of them in Congress. There's no doubt that International Financiers have been influencing the political, bureaucratic Right and Left. I thought that has become a fact of life.

I find it difficult to find any in congress who believe in "Republicanism" . Perhaps Rand Paul but even he has his moments.

On the left its the same ... good luck finding any who believe in "Classical Liberalism".

SCOTUS is perhaps the worst. At least we can get rid of a congressman in fairly short order should the people decide to do it. How does one get rid of the sitting members of SCOTUS ?

Perhaps a good step might be placing term limits on the members of SCOTUS along with Congress. If presidents are shackled with term limits so should the other two legs of government.

That is an interesting idea. At least with congress though "we the people" have a mechanism to oust a member of congress who starts doing things we do not like. We have no such recourse for SCOTUS. This is way too much power - with no way to check that power should it be abused.

Fact is that I've been calling for term limits in both Houses of Congress. In fact I'd like to rescind the elections of Senators and return to Governors appointing Senators rather than be elected. In this manner States would have a voice in the Houses of Congress.

Impeachment takes too long and as we've seen Congress doesn't like impeaching their own.

A Supreme Court Justice may be impeached by the House of Representatives and removed from office if convicted in a Senate trial, but only for the same types of offenses that would trigger impeachment proceedings for any other government official under Articles I and II of the Constitution.
Justice Samuel Chase was impeached by the House of Representatives in 1804, but was acquitted at his Senate trial in early 1805. Chase is the only US Supreme Court justice to have been impeached, but a few have had close calls.

Term limits accomplish nothing but limit the voters choices.

If I have a representative doing a good job why should I lose him for someone who might not be nearly as good just because he's been there for a certain length of time.

Voters have the option of removing anyone they don't like, it should never be mandatory with the exception of the president for obvious reasons.

Perhaps this is a new record. An entire thread highjacked within third post...

The substance of this thread is actually consequential. That our government has chosen the path of self determination instead of it's assigned role as representational interpreter, is abundantly clear now. It seems so many in our government have now assumed that it is actually their burden to subjugate the rest of us. This must not be allowed to stand.

And it is so true that power corrupts and absolute power as found in the SC corrupts absolutely. I think we have seen that. Or justices are only as honest with integrity, as a human being is honest and has integrity. Yet I think I understand why a justice holds his office for life. It was made that way in order to add some percieved stability in interpretation of our constitution. To avoid chaos involving decisions. To slow any potential chaos down to the rate of new tombstones appearing. As justices die and are replaced.

I understand the rational as well but, I think the founders would be shocked how far down the slippery slope we have fallen.

As Wolf mentioned there is a mechanism for impeachment but, this is extremely difficult. As you have inferred the natural tendency of Gov't is to increase its power. It is not so much that these Judges are not honest or lack integrity ... what they lack - oddly enough- is respect for the founding principle.

It could be argued that the founding principle "individual liberty "ABOVE" the legitimate authority of Gov't" is over restrictive. Following this principle imposes severe restrictions on Gov't power - which was the point :)

Utilitarianism - justification for law based on what will increase happiness for the collective - was a way around these restrictions. Initially this was used sparingly but, has now become a plague. Utilitarian justification for law goes to the complete other side of the spectrum - Totalitarianism - as it puts way too much power in the legislative branch and completely ignores individual liberty.

You have probably read some of my previous rants on Utilitarianism - if not let me know and I will give examples.

Yes, when the group that wants or is agreeable to totalitarianism because it gives them what their ideological beliefs demand, runs into those who hold individual liberty as of great value, you get lots of friction. And in order to get what a particular group wants due to their ideological beliefs, when there is an opposition to that, well, it can easily lead to totalitarianism, if they can get their way.

And yet individual liberty without being highly responsible and moral human beings can go badly in a hurry. I feel that I must address both sides of this as it is not such a simple thing. And yet I would come down on the side of individual liberty, given that was very important to the founders of this nation who wrote our constitution. And who wanted to get the hell away from monarchy, and instill values and principles coming from the age of enlightenment.

Excellent summary. The actions are as clear and obvious as the nose on a face, yet, with great effort, get buried and reburied.
