Actually the first best thing to do would be to remove them from public school. If one cannot afford private school then home schooling would be best. But get them the hell away from and out of public school's social engineering socialistic promoting environment.

I sure am no Trump fan, but I try to not talk to my kids about it too much. The likelihood is, actually, that when they rebel, and they will, they might take the opposite side.

 

Socialism already has a chance. You can choose to live it in your private life (extended 'common purse' family, stable and interdependent), or join an actual collective. Both work well. The only thing that ever fails Socialism is individual failure to pull one's weight.

 

Right .. so her idea depends upon billionaires. If she doesn't depend upon them, where will she get that money? She needs to keep funding the loafers, right? That's capitalism. Surplus, to fund the leisure seekers.

 

Make them share give up their toys to complete strangers, and do chores for strangers with no form of compensation.

If they are in high school or college, make them share their grade points with the slackers and party kids, who never apply themselves or do their homework.

 

Welfare can be accommodated in a collective, but only essential welfare. IOW, for the aged and physical disabled. There simply isn't the surplus in a socialist/communist system to cover ELECTIVE NON PRODUCTIVITY. For that, you need galloping capitalism.
