So you want a return to the good ole days of sexism, bigotry, and misogyny?

As another poster pointed out, the men wrestled naked. You want football players today to go back to those days and play naked.

I guess bottom line, what they did hundreds of years ago is irrelevant to today.

Nope. The Greeks were big on games and I think they performed naked in some sports like wrestling. Even so, boys wrestled boys. Can you name a society in history that did the crossover matchups we are seeing today?

It's only been a little more than 130 or so years where most societies stopped treating women as property.

Women sports is not much over 50 yrs old. And what qualifies as an actual woman has been debated almost since the beginning.

This was recent, but this woman was barred from competition and not barred from competition at various times.

    ...
Caster Semenya is a winner. The 29-year-old South African is the two-time women’s 800m Olympic champion, a three-time 800m world champion and a double Commonwealth Games middle distance gold medallist. To wrap those figures in further context, when Semenya won the Doha Diamond League 800m in May 2019, it was her 30th consecutive victory over the distance.

Put simply, when fit, in-form and free to run without distraction, Semenya is almost unbeatable over the 800m. But these are not circumstances often afforded to Semenya, who lives with a condition in which her body produces a much higher level of testosterone than most other women.

A history of Olympic gender scandals
GENDER has been an issue at the Olympics for some time. Not every athlete fits neatly into the male or women’s categories. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) introduced mandatory sex testing in 1968.

Since women's sports became national or international, there's been controversy over who is or isn't female.
As there's no clean cut definition of the cross over.

Lets stick with apples to apples. A woman with too much testerone is still a woman and a man is still a man regardless of his fondest dreams. This is the first time humanity has been faced with this crazyness.

I mean...if that's what you call having a sound understanding as to the biology differences of the two sexes that make up our species...

    Then sure.

People are fruit. Animals aren't fruit. There's no clear cut line between all male and all female. An hermaphrodite can give you a visual if needed.

That's a rare occurrence and does not justify the whole world having to pretend daughters are sons or sons are daughters.

Somebody arguing the exception rather than the rule? It's a common tactic of deceivers and propagandist.

There are two experts who can speak to my gender/ gender identity. Me and my doctor. My doctor is not talking, so listen to me. That is the curtesy that I extend to all.

How about if they are forced to go into a changing room full of men?

Yes let's base all of our social rules off of a deformity.

That would be like making all baseball gloves to have 6 finger slots because someone at some point was born with 6 fingers on one hand.

No wonder society is more ****ed with progressives in charge.

All of our rules? That's seems like an over reaction.
Progressives are almost always in charge..
That's why slavery ended women vote, blacks marry whites, gays have rights and can also marry.

But let's not pretend that shoehorning men into female sports is anything like freeing slaves for f*** sakes.

Equally wrong, hence why we need separate facilities.

    Ooops

UPenn swimmer accuses trans teammate Lia Thomas of conspiring WITH trans Yale swimmer to lose against her
    • A member of the UPenn swimming team says that she believes Lia Thomas, 22, colluded with Yale transgender swimmer Iszac Henig during a 100 freestyle race
    • Henig defeated Thomas in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 49.57, who finished sixth with a time of 52.84 at a January 8 meet
    • The teammate says she is convinced believes Thomas and Henig came up with their plan before the Penn home tri-meet with Yale and Dartmouth
    • 'Looking at (Lia's) time, I don't think she was trying,' she said. 'I know they're friends and I know they were talking before the meet. I think she let her win to prove the point that, ''Oh see, a female-to-male beat me'
    • The teammate said members had to cover up the Penn logo with duct tape, except for Thomas, the reason they had to take the precaution in the first place
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ot-LOSE-against-transgender-Yale-swimmer.html

And BTW a male athlete even under testosterone suppression has 10 times the testosterone of a female and benefitted growing up with all that testosterone.

Conspired to finish 6th? Must have conspired with 4 other swimmers also.

I did find it odd that one who won a month earlier came in 6th.

And NCAA is changing policy on trans athletes.
