It's ironic to think that if a group of armed people in Iraq/Afghanistan/Syria walked around in an anti-Christian protest, they'd be labeled as terrorists and probably be drone striked.
However the same actions will be supported in the USA.
Who do we call "terrorists"?

What does being armed have to do with anything? Seems to me that if it happens in the states, there are going to be people with guns. Might as well say that there are people with opinions at a protest.

 

IF it had been protest against Terrorists I would say it was fine but that is not what the organizer is about and I doubt half his BS stories about being threatened, I look at him and the idiots screaming obscenities with him as nothing more than a bunch of morons that hide behind calling themselves Patriots. Oh well, Morons will always be what they are and cannot change that fact, they will always be with us.

The organizer asked people to bring weapons just in case there might be some trouble. Self defense is one of the reasons why people own guns.

I get the idea from the OP that the protesters being armed is a negative. If I'm wrong, then okay. It's actually a positive that the protesters were armed.

 

A person who is following Islam to the letter is a terrorist. Muhammad was a terrorist himself, and Muslims are trying to emulate him. Why would we expect different behavior from the people who are following his example?

What the left should be trying to do is to get Muslims to abandon their religion. That's what the left has been doing to Christians for decades, so why not Muslims?

 

Here we go again, the peace loving, non violent, and anti religion crowd has again sprung into action to terrorize someone they disagree with. The left can protest cops and burn down buildings while doing it and the left gives them a pass. The left can trespass and occupy private property destroying it in the process and the left gives them a pass. The left can march down the street demanding dead cops and the left gives them a pass. The left can destroy the lives of anyone who they think isn't pro gay and they think they're doing a good thing. But when the right does a little protesting of their own the left loses it and blows chunks.

Err...umm...there are terrorists murdering innocent people in the Middle East in case you have not heard. I do not hear many lefties whining about ISIS so when folks here protest just keep silent on that also. No one gives a crap about these Islamic terrorists.

Has it occurred to U.S. Muslims, especially the moderate variety, that if they don't get behind the U.S. and its allies they are courting trouble? Actions such as 911, and the attempt to shoot up the Geller "Mohammed Drawing" contest constitute war against the rest of the U.S. Whatever college professors and newswriters think, these people have put themselves at odds with the rest of the country. When combined with the continuing stream of threats, vitriol and violence emanating from other countries people rightly feel threatened.

 

Please explain how they are supposed to get behind the US, they are simply Citizens like you and me and all their organized groups have supported the US and openly sated as much. What more do you want of them, marches stating they support the US, we both know the morons would come out in droves to scream and curse at them, why on earth would they subject themselves to that?

See this post (link). Further to that point, the aim of immigrants should be a better life for themselves and their family. If their aim is warfare against the society to which they are moving that society would logically exclude, imprison or kill them. If their objective is a better life, recreating their "motherland" in their new country is perverse.

No, but the non-extremists parts of the community cannot enable them or give them shelter.
