I acknowledge my White Privlege. How do we deal with it?

How do you know that? I a white person cannot speak to what blacks experience and feel then blacks cannot speak to what whites experience and feel.

I always worry when I get stopped by police but then I don't resist and am respectful of what they are doing don't call them MFers or other abusive language and if they were to put me under arrest I would fully comply.

I've gotten looks from clerks before and had them suddenly come up and ask "can I help you".

I've had landlords not rent to me because they didn't like the way I looked.

They happen to all sorts of people.

But do tell me how I was privileged over you?

Just the color of his skin, he grew up with white parents in a white neighborhood and went to white schools, you know that 50% white of him.

 

What do you mean? I admired his grandparents who raised him. Do you admit it was in his white family and not his black family?

 

In the corporate world, it is far better to be a black, female, Muslim than to be a white, male, Christian.

I see no advantage to being white in the 21st century.

If they were hooded and masked, how did you know they were Black?

 

All minorities suffered severe injustice. In USA, African Americans and Native Americans suffered most. Racism in USA was worse then anti-Semitism in USSR.


Jewish people are not a part of European Majority. Fortunately in USA I have not encountered severe anti-Semitism.

 

After WWII, Jews can never be a part of European Nationalism.

 

Well, you can walk into a church and kill 9 parishoners and get a Whopper value meal for your troubles......

Ok, so if I do that I have an advantage. Otherwise it’s a disadvantage.

 

The communists killed over 100M people. Attempting to compare that with the USA is laughable.

 

Whites are the ONLY group in this country whom it is legal and government sponsored to discriminate against.

I can't remember who said this, But it is so true. Whites are NOT discriminated against. It's just that they finally have to share some of what they've always had.
And they don't like it.

 

I beg to differ. Our government provides tax credits to businesses who hire minority contractors but they don’t provide those credits for hiring white contractors. Essentially PAYING businesses to hire anyone but white people.

that was true, now it's better to be from a country like India, China, ect... corps prefer foreign outsourcing to hiring Americans anymore it seems

I think many are looking for someone to blame, the Trump economy is not great for many

as more and more jobs go overseas, civil unrest till continue to grow

 

Think about all the years that African-Americans were not able to get ANY kind of contracts.
Look on the bright side: All of those African-Americans receiving those nice contracts won't have to be on welfare, food stamps or Section 8 housing. They will be making good incomes.

 

They could be White people who are wearing tanning spray on their arms and legs. ( Honest )

It is all a crock. How about our government get behind law enforcement and start busting these looters? Use the military if need be.

 

I was joking! Guess comedy is not my forte. I did hear that not all the rioters and looters were Black. Seriously.

At least it is pointless to talk about. Nobody chooses their race. I owe my whiteness to nobody but my parents. I had nothing at all to do with it.

 

It appeared to me that the people directing the riots (people in black) were all white.
