First of all,I'm really sorry for my poor english, concentrate on the point please and not my lacking writing.
All of this is going to be said by a jew who has had strong faith in god so far.
I don't know how i have been affected to change my mind about the world view but this has just happened quickly ! ( i speculate this is a consequence of maturation).
I have started reading articles on the net about our space and another science and found out there is something wrong with all the religions in the world.
my sister became atheist two years ago and nowadays trying to prove to me there is no god overhead.
the israeli society is divided into two groups of people while each group has people with completetly another outlooks.
Fortunately, israel is not a religious country and enable its residents to take decisions about religion themselves. The problems seems to come from my friends when i inform them that my faith in god is gone, after hearing it,they won't probably want me to be around them. here is my problem-I have to weigh up what is more important : self honesty or friends around.

I hope you will help me take a right decision about my difficulty to decide which way i should go.

you are on the right track.

    ie.... YOU can think,

    YOU are aware

YOU are what can be responsible for YOU.

DO what is right by YOUR measure of LOVE, compassion, empathy and remove the self as the first (my definition of empathy) and live.

measure GOOD actions by what you do:

Good; support life to continue (give of your energy (life) for other(s) (life) to live

    BAD: loss to the common

If you want to KNOW GOD, then look around you. HE (it, him, she, them) is of god (mother nature itself).

YOU are HIM, in the flesh and capable of such selfless love, giving compassion, care and contribution as any who ever walked.

    YOU are alive!

and i personally love any who can be just that compassionate to 'awaken' to know it, feel it, realize it and be happy just to be capable.

    'we the people' are ONE

Faith in God, or rather, love of God--is as any other experience of human emotion. It ebbs and flows. There are periods of lush and overwhelming communion with God, and then there is the desert. Faith is not an either/or--it is an experience of life. I say, wait and abide. If you do that, you are doing your best.

Thank you all for the help.
I've decided that i would believe in what my intelligence says.
Basically,in israel,it's unusual to see a person doesn't believe in god,i don't care about that.

I think the key to happiness is living authentically.

It's common for people to fall in and out of faith...I would be surprised if many of your peers didn't have similar feelings whether or not they openly admit to such or not.
