    Oh, so as long as I don't use it as an insult? I can walk up to a group of black people and say, yo (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s! LOL. Somehow I don't think that would go over too well. Also, I do believe that black people use the term to insult one another as well.

    Well, my point is, that I hear black people use the term much more often than any white people.

    then I am confused by your post #1 in this thread, why the comparison to the n-word

    Thug represents a bad career criminal type person, not any race in particular

    I do not think either should use the word, it's racist to decide who can use the word based on race
