Sure. But what does race have to do with it?

    Absolute and utter BS.

America is teeming with 'black and brown' migrants who don't get harrassed by police. None of it is about colour, my friend - it's about CULTURE. Those migrants aren't being harrassed because they don't look, sound, or behave like the demographics who most frequently find themselves in opposition to the laws. Even when they're the same race.

Yes, which is why I'm asking. He could have been mistaken for a Chinese person, or a Norwegian, or anyone.

The only thing that matters is the mistake, not these utterly irrelevant details.

Uuuuhhhh, they got the race wrong! What the hell do you mean it has nothing to do with race? That's like saying rain has nothing to do with water. Do you even see what you're saying?

Yes, and? If they had only a name and location (which is sometimes the case), what possible difference does that make?

And even if they had identifying details as race and age, yet still got it wrong - what possible relevance do the particulars of the races involved, have to do with the actual error?

On average, the black and brown are harassed a lot more by cops.
Driving while black is a true phenomena, for instance.... cops even have a higher success rate stopping white folks.
White people also do and deal about the same amount of drugs vs black people. Cops most definitely hunt predominantly black people on this account.
That's the American cop culture, who is predominantly white.
You may not agree, but the facts -and you can look it up- are what they are.

You can only imagine, if cops actually arrested the amount of white people for drugs, according to the % of their participation, what it will do in the stats about the amount of violent encounters white folks got going etc etc etc.

That they got the race wrong, is the first obvious thing a person would notice.
So how the cops somehow failed to see this in 2 different jails, is something that they need to answer. But since the explanation is not being presented, we can only fill in that it that they thought the black guy must be it, because they associate black people with being criminals. It's part of their cop culture.

And it is like that, since it's flat out unrealistic that cops ever going to admit that it was racism. Get real. lol
They just keep their mouth shut, like they are doing now, for the sake to keep their jobs.

Why is 'team blue' claiming a victory here? Sounds to me like another case of people getting in trouble for victimless 'crimes', which is a bipartisan problem if there ever was one. They got the wrong guy. Maybe if the bureaucracy of 'justice' wasn't so cluttered up with junk like posession charges, this sortof F-up would be a lot more rare.

This is exactly how the white supremacists get you to carry their water. Get you to 'care' about race - but only certain races, and only under certain circumstances. They condition you to not notice or care when it falls outside their programming.
