'I think I’d take it': In exclusive interview, Trump says he would listen if foreigners offered dirt on opponents
    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/id-...ten-foreigners-offered-dirt/story?id=63669304

President Donald Trump may not alert the FBI if foreign governments offered damaging information against his 2020 rivals during the upcoming presidential race, he said, despite the deluge of investigations stemming from his campaign's interactions with Russians during the 2016 campaign.

"I think you might want to listen, there isn't anything wrong with listening," Trump continued. "If somebody called from a country, Norway, [and said] ‘we have information on your opponent' -- oh, I think I'd want to hear it."
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trump also said that if the information came from China or Russia, he would take that information and the FBI is wrong that he shouldn't. And he said this sitting right there, in the Oval Office at his desk. This is stunning. Nancy Pelosi was right when she said "Trump is self-impeaching".

    NOW do you believe us?

If its so wrong then why did Hillary hire foreign nationals to dig up dirt on Trump? And why aren't you condemning her for doing so? BTW, she also did not turn over that dirt to the FBI. In fact she decided to not do anything with it.

Never said it was a defense. That's your assumption. I was just stating a conclusion followed by facts of how I arrived at that conclusion. However I will note that you still won't condemn Hillary. Who actually did what Trump has only suggested he might do.

What if Hillary Clinton and Chelsea met with Russians to get 'dirt' on Donald Trump and what if they went along with the hacking of the RNC and the email accounts of Jared and Ivanka. What would you do -- nothing? Would you pivot and say "well it was only opposition research"? You know damned well that she would be in prison before the sun set that day. Come on people, get it through your heads once and for all, this man is absolutely destroying our democracy and he's doing it right in everyone's faces.

Actually Hillary hired someone else to get 'dirt" on Trump from the Russians. So your "analogy" actually isn't all that far off the mark. And guess what...still the same answer. I. Do. Not. Care. You're the one that is hollering all about Trump even suggesting that he might do it while completely ignoring that Hillary actually DID do it. Did she meet personally? No. But she did hire someone else, a foreign agent, to get that information FROM Russia. And then she didn't do anything with it...including not telling the FBI about it.

As for the hacking, Russia did attempt to hack the RNC. They just failed to do so because the RNC listened to the FBI when they warned the RNC that Russia was attempting to hack them, as such they took extra measures to protect their info. Unlike the DNC which ignored the warnings from the FBI.

I believe that Trump is fundamentally changing America into something thoroughly unAmerican and developing himself as it despotic dictator. Screw Pelosi! He has to be stopped, and pronto! If the Democrats don't grow a spine and turn hardcore strict Constitutional enforcers and prosecute the hell out of him, we're doomed.

So let's prosecute her as soon as we get this thug out of the WH and into a jail cell.

It has nothing to do with Trump. It is American people.
They are intentionally divided by gender, race, sexuality etc.. so they are powerless.
They do not want to think, they prefer fight each other.
Trump is just a lame attempt to fight an American democrato/republicano/corporate establishment.

You can thank Identity politics for the division we see regarding race, gender etc etc. And who exactly pushes identity politics the most?

Accepting offers of help from a foreign adversary isn't opposition research, it's collusion. It's more than foreign interference it's subversion of our democracy. Obstruction in plain site, this is a lawless president.

You said "I will note that you still won't condemn Hillary. Who actually did what Trump has only suggested he might do."

What, then, were you suggesting I should condemn Hillary for that she "actually did"?

Are you saying that, if it were true, would make this ok? Or would it make it defensible?

What I'm saying, neighbor, is that there is zero moral superiority between the Democrat political establishment and the Republican political establishment.

    Zero.

What a friggin ignorant idiot. He just admitted he'd have no trouble breaking three or four federal laws to get oppo research from a foreign governments.

This is a stunning new low. Apparently King Donald doesn't think the law applies to anything that benefits his own gloriously great arse.

    Stunning.

meanwhile trumpettes bleet "whataboutery", in yet another display of lack of concern for the damage this bumbling egomaniacal fool is doing.

"I'd take it", ain't "I'd listen to them".

He just admitted to that he would engage in the exact behavior that he has repeatedly denied for the past two years. Yeah, I would do what I have been so wrongly accused of. That was a hoax, but this is me, glorious me!

The man makes cretins look good.

There is a difference between taking info, or listening to info, and actively pursuing info. Do you know the difference?
