I was at a President Trump rally.

Today I just came from his last thank you tour in Mobile. It was great!!! And the funny thing about I didn't saw one KKK outfit or any racist comment against me (I'm black). Not that I thought there would be. I was about 50 feet from him and just in front of the media in the football field. To be honest this is my first time seeing a president in real life. Anyway forgive me if my post is a little disjointed but I'm excited and tired all at the same time. Though I would like to know if any of the members here was there also or if you watched it.

I watched on TV and enjoyed it. I think it's great the way he reads from his speech and then diverges from it and just chats with the audience.

If Hillary had been elected, she would have sequestered herself amongst her political advisors and had carefully scripted press releases - nothing like this.

Must have been a great time!

Glad you had a good time! I watched the speech and it looked like there was a crazy number of people there.

Sure was! The people were kind and courteous. You've should've seen the shirt I was wearing.

One guy liked it at the rally and I also wore it to work before. My surpervisor, a co worker, and the security gaurd all liked it too.

I'd say between 500 and 1500. Sorry but I'm bad at estimates.

I saw some of it on TV. Reminded me uncomfortably of the rallies in Germany in the 30s

Told you I was bad at estimates.

Or the Obama rallies. The only reason his rallies remind you of hitler is because you've got your head filled with biased media portraying him as one when in fact Hillary has more in common with hitler than President Trump.

Trump now sounds like Bill Clinton. He said that we are all Americans even if you're an African American or Asian American at the last part of his long speech. His thank you tour is basically about boasting about beating Hillary against all odds and it's all about fun. I have a feeling that he's going to be a great president.

Is it usual for the president-elect to have "thank you" tours? Sort of looks like triumphalism to me. Are you heading for a cult of personality?

Ummm... yeah. In fact it's kinda expected.

But by all means keep up with the "he's a stick up demigod" act.

Now for the bad news. Since Trump isn't president until January 20th you still haven't seen a president in real life.
nee ner nee ner nee ner

    Ha ha
I hope you don't mind the teasing :)

I saw Trump in the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City back when I was 17. My dad was gambling and since I wasn't old enough to gamble my sister and I just wondered the halls. And there he was with a small crowd around him. It wasn't a big deal back then. He was just a celebrity of a tv show that I didn't watch.

The rally must have been fun. I've watched the rallys on the news and they always make me laugh. Trump is so unscripted and non politically correct. He says the most outlandish and humorous things.

    Just how old are you?

Edit to add. My bad. You probably meant rallies that you saw on old video. Not rallies you personally attended. Whenever I see people whip out the Hitler card on a political forum I stop thinking logically.

No, but he is a non-politician who fought against all the odds to become president. He fought daily smearing from the Democrats and the Republican elite to win, so he wanted to thank the people who made it happen.

First president I saw was Nixon, second was Obama, that uncomfortably reminded me of Hitler rallies in the 30s. LOL

    Everything about Trump is unusual.

It is so refreshing to have a New York businessman stir the pot and make the entrenched, worthless Washington bureaucrats a little nervous.

I've seen Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, and Bush in person. I shook hands with Reagan the day before he was elected president in 1980. I haven't seen Trump; hopefully he stops in Dallas eventually.

Maybe Trump telling his supporters that they have been violent, vicious, mean, and nasty, had some effect.

But then he was the one inciting the violence, viciousness, meanness and nastiness. It is like starting a fire and then blaming the building for burning.

I have watched and enjoyed all of the thank you rallies.

I love the way Trump rubs the liberals faces in their loss.

We all know in the liberal world it's tough for any black person

to dare step off the liberal plantation. They will call you every

dirty name they can think of. Thanks for your courage.

    What a bunch of tripe.

All of the violence, viciousness, meanness and nastiness

    comes from the left.

Plain to see for the sane among us.

I'm just telling you what Trump said about his supporters.

But I understand that when it comes to Trump, you only hear what you want to hear.

    You don't have a clue.

    Trump was being sarcastic.

He was making fun of the lying media.

Unlike you, I am an objective thinker.

I didn't see any Trump supporters going to

hillary rallies and attacking her supporters.

It was all the other way around. I could go

on and on with examples, but I realize talking

facts to a liberal is like trying to teach a fish to drive a car.

In other words a total waste of time.
