Oh, they settled on an amicable dollar figure to be spent, without much indication as to what it will be spent on specifically. The silver lining is that farm subsidies are recouped by tariffs, so the budget & deficit aren't impacted. Trump will collect $75 bn in tariffs incrementally this year. That should cover the subsidies leaving change to spare. What you'll do about the (D)'s human trafficking I hven't a clue. Sanctuary laws are already on the books.

 

What about budgets from Trump's first two years they were only from Democrats or do you not know how the GOP is more than half the govt? Tariffs are paid by the companies that buy the product then they are passed to the consumers yet China has abandoned all trade with US agribusinesses which means no tariff monies from China on farm products so the taxpayer is left with the bill, same as that wall Mexico was gonna pay for...

What's Trump spending money on? Trump can only spend what congress gives him ... and even if you consider the couple billion in pentagon funds he repurposed ... $5 bn is what % of the budget? It's less than 1% of the pentagons, and good news the border wall won't get us into a war, or kill innocent civilians. The GOP House didn't give Trump anything the 1st 2 years.

 

The DNC imports the illegals and issues them city ID's and drivers licenses. Sanctuary city police depts. and sheriffs won't report illegals ... but ol' MacDonald is supposed to?

 

Local cops do not have any authority from the federal govt. to process immigration issues. In other words it is out of their jurisdiction to get involved...Why would a city or state not want people to have ID and driver's license? And I can bet you can't prove that the DNC imports illegals and get's them ID and DL's.

 

If those who are supporting and championing illegal immigration into the united states do not care about illegal aliens being exploited upon arrival, why should those who are citizens of the united states care otherwise?

 

Employers aren't legally obliged to enforce immigration law, or work with ICE either. "People" is a stupid generalization and because residency is what's indicated, employers are more likely to believe applicants are here legally ... 'cause they've been issued documents by the states they reside in. This is a great bi polar topic 'cause the DNC just went to the SCOTUS to block the US Census Bureau from even asking about citizenship. (D)'s are a hoot!

What I noticed was your question. "What about Trump's first 2 years". Doesn't matter who controlled the House the first 2 years, Trump didn't get any earmarks for the wall from Ryan. The tiny totality of funds for border security doesn't amount to 1% of the US budget. At this point you're not just spinning, you're trying to spin strawmen into gold Rumpelstiltskin.

 

What good are immigration laws that can't and won't be enforced? If you're going to "catch and release" why stop the illegals from getting jobs to support themselves? The border wall act only designated 700 miles of barrier to be constructed and that was finished in 2015. Trump wanted additional funding yet when 1.6 billion was allocated he stated it wasn't enough, govt. shut down Trump signed funding of govt. that included wall funds..
