Let's pretend that Mexico was the new Palestine. They have people constantly suicide bombing and terrorizing the United States at the same rate that Israel has. How would we as America respond differently? Or would we respond the same? Would we just continually take these constant terrorist bombings over decades without invading Mexico? Or would we have declared war, invaded and taken over Mexico for our own safety? Or would we do something else? What would America do if it was in Israel's shoes?
As a matter of fact, more Americans have died at the hands of Mexican drug cartels than Israelis have died at the hands of Palestinian missiles/terrorists. There have been fewer than 100 Israelis killed at the hands of Palestinians since 2013, in that same period 181 Americans have been killed by Mexican drug cartels http://www.breitbart.com/texas/2015...-181-americans-murdered-in-mexico-since-2013/ Of course there's more going on between Israel and Palestine than there is Mexico and the US. What we're seeing between Israel and Palestine is a territorial conflict, the lives lost at the hands of bad guys from the other side of the border is the least of the two nation's concerns. A better comparison wouldn't be a what if scenario of bad guys/terrorists from Mexico killing Americans (that's already happening at a higher rate than in Israel), but the US and Mexican governments themselves being at a dispute over territory. If America were to invade Mexico and attempt taking over their territories, then the Mexicans would most surely resist
