Perile ad hom and attempt to derail the thread because this is the only thing that the extreme, dangerous and virulently unpatriotic, treacherous segment of Right (and it appears to be a hefty segment, at that) has going for it. 1984 = 2019.

Of the 76 Ds who have not said YES for impeachment proceedings, here a breakdown according to key states. Max Rose (D-NY-11) has come out categorically against impeachment, so, there are 75 other Ds to look at. A number of them have muttered (but in no certain terms) that they are probably not for impeachment, but they haven't explicitly come out against it, either.

Let's start with the D dreadnaught states of California and New York. In California, 33 of 46 Reps (71.7%) of the D-HOR-delegation from CA have come out for impeachment. Here are the remaining 13:

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment CA.png

You can see that of the 13 remaining CA DEMS, 2 hold very high positions within the party (Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff), 2 flipped their CDs from red to blue in 2018 (Harder in CA-10 and Cox in CA-21, whereas the other 5 D pickups in CA have already come out for impeachment), 9 of those 13 were elected in 2018 by margins of +37.7 or far greater, meaning that their CDS are as safe as safe gets. 1 Rep is retiring: Susan Davis (CA-53). Only 1 CA DEM is even remotely in danger in 2020 and that would be TJ Cox, who is being challenged on the Republican side by the guy he beat (David Valadao). So, you can be pretty much guaranteed that when all is said and done, 45 of 46 D-reps from California will have publicly come out for impeachment.

15 of 21 NY-DEMS (71.4%) of the D-HOR-delegation from NY, have come out for impeachment. Here are the remaining 6:

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment NY.png

The mix in NY is different. We have one Rep, Greg Meeks, who is high up on the chain in the D-party and sits on important committees. As noted, Max Rose has come out firmly against impeachment. Of the remaining 4, 2 were re-elected in 2018 by around +18 in very solid D-districts and both are considered more moderate Democrats. The other 2 (with Max Rose) flipped their CDs from red to blue in 2018, both are POC, both are experienced attorneys, both have made extremely hard-hitting questions in committee hearings. Antonio Delgado (NY-19) flipped a district that went from Obama 2012 to Trump 2016, and yet, he won it by over +5. Anthony Brindisi, on the other hand, just barely beat out Republican incumbent Claudia Tenney and word has it she plans to jump back into the race in a formerly very Republican district. So, I can imagine that 4 of these Reps will eventually (and by that, I mean sooner than later) come out for impeachment and Nancy Pelosi will allow Brindisi to simply not say anything, purely for political purposes.

So, of the 19 seats combined from above, I am more than sure that 17 will declare, and pretty soon.

Another state, a big battleground state where lots of Ds have not yet declared, is Florida (ahhh, hanging chad Florida):

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment FL and GA.png
In the graphic above are both Florida and Georgia. The Florida delegation is 13 D, 14 R. Of those 13 Ds, only 4 have currently come out for impeachment, but of the 9 remaining, look at their electoral histories: 3 were not even challenged, 1 won with a +99 margin and 4 others won by between +15 and +34. The only R-to-D pickup from 2018 is FL-27 (Donna Shalala) and she won by +6. The D-pickup from FL-26, a far more endangered CD, has already come out for impeachment. On this list we also see names of some of Trump's fiercest critics of all.

In GA, John Lewis, an icon of the US-House, is all but guaranteed to come out for impeachment, he has been hinting at it for quite a while. David Scott (GA-13) is one of the least known members of congress, but his CD is one of the safest. I am pretty sure that when all is said and done, the entire D-congressional-delegations from FL and GA will have come out for impeachment, and many of them right after the hearings this Thursday.

So, these 4 states combined bring us to 30 seats.

    Here are the other 40+:

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment AL-AZ.png
Terri Sewell, the lone African-American D-Rep from Alabama and absolutely unchallenged in her seat for a number of cycles, is guaranteed to come out for impeachment. O'Halleran from AZ (the only D rep from AZ to not speak yet) is considered a moderate.

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment CO and CT.png

Ed Permutter is the only D from Colorado to not declare yet. Both he (from CO) and the rest of the CT delegation are all but guaranteed to declare for impeachment very soon.

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment HI-KS.png

Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois and Kansas are a different story. Both reps from HI are considered moderates, so they may hang on the fence for a long time. Gabbard has esentially come out against impeachment, but as long as her so-called presidential campaign is running, who knows what she is really thinking.

All three reps from IA have been quiet thus far, but Loebsack is retiring, he is likely to be the first of the three to announce. Both pickups from IA are indeed in battleground territory, but at the same time, IA-04 (King-R) is really in danger of flipping blue in 2020 and the state has been hit very hard by the trade wars. I can imagine Pelosi letting IL-03 simply not say anything about impeachment. In Illinois, 11 of 13 Democrats have already declared for impeachment, the 2 remaining Democrats could not possibly be more different from each other. Bustos (IL-17) is an upper-up in the party. Lipinski (who beat an avowed NAZI in 2018 by 47 points) is arguably one of the 2 most conservative D-reps in the House, he is likely to come out against impeachment. If Lipinski (or Cuellar from Texas) comes out, then Nancy will have 236 vote for impeachment on the House floor.

I can't gauge Kansas at all. That an American Indian woman who was, until that point, relatively unknown, could flip a seat in the middle of Kansas in 2018 by a near-landslide margin is a cool story all for itself. I have no idea what she will do, but until now, her votes in Congress have been very progressive. Trump's approval rating in KS is also not good. Wait and see.

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment MA-MD.png
MA and MD are all but done deals. Neil, Lynch, Hoyer and Cummings are all upper-us in the Democratic party and please know the absolute blowout margins that these guys had in 2018 (and in years before). Their YESES are merely a matter of formality at this stage in the game.

2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment ME-NM.png
2019-09-024 not yet for impeachment OK-WI.png
From ME to WI, the look is far more mixed. I've highlighted in RED those cases I think will be interesting, but if someone like Lucy McBath (GA-06), who is clearly in a battleground district, can come out strongly for impeachment, then so can most all of these. The ONLY Rep I see as likely a dead man walking is McAdams from UT-04. I suspect that he will come out against impeachment and be one of the 11 where Pelosi could cut some slack if need be.

So, going into Thursday's hearings, this is how the Democratic column is looking right now. This may change again (and alot, at that) between today and Thursday. It already changed a lot yesterday.

And the hits keep coming. Haley Stevens (D-MI-11), a D-pickup from 2018, has just come out unequivocally for impeachment proceedings:

    https://twitter.com/RepHaleyStevens/status/1176452890673799168

This makes her the 159th D-Rep to come out for impeachment, making for 160 total (with Justin Amash, I-MI-03).

MI-11 has a cook rating of R+4. Stevens won the seat by +6.7 in 2018.

So, the second DEM impeachment yes of the day:

    https://twitter.com/repdelgado/status/1176473697961594880

Antonio Delgado (D-NY-19), whom I just mentioned in the long posting above about Dems who had not yet committed to impeachment.

In fact, his statement is among the most strongly worded that I have seen:

    EFOsl6cW4AIfP8-.png

Delgado is the 160th D to come out for impeachment and the 161st Rep overall (Justin Amash, I-MI-03).

It should be noted that Democratic majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC-06) will probably not be speaking about any of this for a while, for his beloved wife of 58 years, Emily England Clyburn, died on September 19th, 2019 and in typical classy Clyburn fashion, he kept the announcement small and has simply removed himself from the scene. Clyburn was never a showboat. The funeral services were Sunday and yesterday, in West Columbia and Charleston, respectively.

So, if people are asking why Nancy is taking time whipping up votes, that's not actually her job, but rather, the whip's job. But he is grieving right now.

Here is his twitter handle, if you want to send proper and fitting condolences:

    And the hits keep coming:

Colin Allred (R-TX-32) just came out for impeachment:

    https://twitter.com/RepColinAllred/status/1176486196421283840

Colin picked up TX-32 for Team Blue in the 2018 congressional elections, by +6.52%. His seat was considered one to be in play again for 2020, but apparently, he does not think so. His statement is also strongly worded:

    EFO39cDXUAEJAAc.png
Allred is the 161st D to come out for impeachment and the 162nd Rep overall (Justin Amash, I-MI-03).

Trump knows his defeat at the hands of the American public is in the offing. Pelosi recognizes that as well, but his depraved antics may defeat her attempts to avoid impeachment.

Fake Don welcomes impeachment as the desperation-induced opportunity for one of his cry baby, "Everybody's being mean to ME!" tantrumps that wee wee's up his paranoidal lickspittles. His need to viciously and indiscriminately lash out may have to be accommodated.

    His re-election platform:

Trump Derangement Syndrome is becoming infectious.

The cure is to take 2020 and wake up unemployed the day after.

So he didn't watch the news to see the the DNI and OLC said the complaint didn't meet the statutory requirements? And then he says he wants to impeach a president for properly conducting foreign policy and insuring billions of foreign aid do not go to corrupt governments and is accountable?

Trump bum kissers are becoming more unhinged.

Although I still oppose Fake Don's impeachment, it will allow more of what Fake Don desperately tries to hide to be revealed.

Fake Don should come clean with the whistleblower's complaint and transcript of the notorious telephone call, and contrive whatever excuse he can. Some will swallow whatever he comes up with.

While your data is impressive it doesn't represent reality.

The Democrats in the House can impeach all they want, if the senate refuses to convict, its all for nothing

Surely the Democrats understand this? no

The only thing the Democrats will accomplish by impeaching Trump is galvanizing the left of the party and guaranteeing victory for Trump in 2020.

The American people don't care about Impeachment, they care about putting food on the table , how to pay for their medical bills and having money to pay their blls

Most don't understand or care about "obstruction of justice" most thinks "obstruction of justice" is an action movie .
All they see is Mueller couldn't provide concrete evidence of Trump conspiring with Russia, and now they are squawking about Ukraine and Biden Son .

I hope they do Impeach Trump and when the Democrats mostly a Biden/Warren ticket loses, who will they blame?

Impeachment had a yuge effect on Willian Jefferson Clinton. If you read past history that may clear up your ignorance on this issue.

Someone has way too much time on their hands, and way too much invested in impeachment.

Impeachment will be like continually poking a rabid warthog with pointed sticks.

The spectacle of Fake Don lashing out irrationally in every direction will not be a pretty sight.

It'll be ugly, but even if you avert your eyes, you won't be able to escape the relentless shrill bleating of Fake Don.

    Quite sad, actually.

It sounds as if you have already conducted your personal impeachment trial with your foregone verdict at the ready.

You will have missed the amusement the public one will afford.

Most of the fun is in the process.

The Democrats want to be able to say Trump was impeached as a smear in the 2020 election. The fact they had no charge or crime does not matter to them because they have no ethics to begin with.
They are convinced the American public are all imbeciles and they will be able to fool all the people.... We will see.

In sum total, on 09/24/2019, until this hour, 30 D-reps have come out for impeachment, bringing the total to 189:

2019-09-024 30 names recorded as yes for impeachment.png

Some of these names were already listed earlier today ... as I wrote, it's a grand total.

    "IMPEACHMENT WATCH! " Hahahaha!
I love Trump! He's definitely going to be the most entertaining President we've ever had!

I didn't read the entire op. I likely won't hang on every development, the whole Russian Collusion thing was beyond stupid, lesson learned.

President Trump has changed the game. Some of you might not like it, but I don't care.
Maybe you were happy with the the way things were when old money allowed foolish men to run our country into the ground.

But gains have been made, that you can't "impeach" away.

Trump has been underestimated before. He thrives on the challenges... And the "Deplorables" his base, are average Americans who will never again yield to the direction the, so called "Democratic" vision would take us in.

So have at it. This should be a blast!
