You are confusing what such a permit would be for. You don’t need a permit to speak, but do to use the White House lawn for anything because it is a secure area. Outside the front of the White House grounds unpermitted protests occure frequently and legally as long public ROW and pedestrian traffic is not blocked. I have never seen a permit for speech... show one. I have heard this arguement before as an example of permitting the excersize of a right, and it is a false narrative. Permits are not needed for free speech, but are to block, barricade, erect stages, request security services etc. for an event. Want to protest something, anything, you can do so without a speech permit.
It does when those who are authorized to issue permits are given the authority to deny applications at their discretion, even when the applicant has no disqualifying record.

Personally, I dislike truncated cones ammo in favor of hollow point ball ammo by Federal one of my favorite, Remington used to have good 10mm ammo. However, an Aftermarket barrel by BARSTO might be best, better quality than OEM... As well as better quality magazines. Oops, sorry, forgot it was R.I.A. another reason I like to stick to single stack in a 1911 so I can use standard 1911 magazines available anywhere.....
I prefer KART barrels on my top 1911 rigs. My Frederick Craig gun I used 25 years ago or so in limited had Kart Barrels. I have a wayne Novak built highpower with a Barsto barrel. Nowlin's aren't bad either
