I tend to be very extroverted in my public life but the opposite in my private. I often work at home and it drives my wife crazy that when I'm in my "office" at home I won't talk to her of the kids and when I'm not working, I wont talk about work. I've always considered the two completely separate so when I'm working, I'm working and when I'm not, I'm not even thinking about work. For me the most telling result of this particular test was "The world exists primarily to be understood." I blame Buddhism.
With how many people on this site are obsessed with America from other places, while Americans primarily argue with Americans over America, I'd say the national character of America is far more introvert. That's why a huge chunk of Americans can't stand globalists in charge, whether they want to drop bombs or rice on other places.
Um....nope. Introvert means care about your own thoughts and feelings. Extrovert cares about others thoughts and feelings. Now truly, what is America's national character?
I'm not really sure, but certainly not as you posted earlier on... Your description makes me believe you are the annoying guy at the hotel swimmingpool who doesn't know when to shut up.
No. You're making it seem like introverts are mean spirited people and extroverts care only about others.
Huh? For me, "introverted" means to have a large notion of empathy ~ "extroverted" means to be self-centered.

No, no, no. A dictionary is far from sufficient to address such complicated matters. I compare an extrovert person to a oxidation reaction -- he sucks all the oxygen out of a room expressing his "empahty" ~ but that is merely expressing it, not actually feeling (and thus acting on it). For the latter, one needs an introverted person. Sorry, but extroverted are the biggest (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)-bags aroud, I believe. Pulled this from a blog:
On behalf of introverts, I'd like to say Janpor was talking about other extroverts, not those on this thread. But yeah man, I hear you.
