Besides the crooked clowns of Feinstein , Schumer , Zuckerberg, Boxer, Schiff etc

I think ( as an non practicing Jewish person ) that most anti Semitism is a direct result of their own actions
    I hate to say it
I know it’s true and so do you

Yes you have pro Nazi groups in a few rural areas but they mostly don’t bother anyone

Are there more than 0 anti-semites within the borders of the continental US? Yes.

Is it a serious issue? No. Are huge swathes of Americans anti-semites? No.

What does them being Jewish have to do with anything? You think it’s their own fault that bigots hate Jews? Wow...:eyepopping:

No what he is saying is that Jews who play the 'anti-semite card' are just acting like *******s to begin with and thus brought it on themselves.

Well if that was the case, they should be criticized for their actions - their religion plays no part in that.

Yeah but when you do that, you're labeled an anti-semite.

That would then fall to the ignorance of the accuser. If I don't like the actions or deeds of a person, I call them out for those actions or deeds. I don't throw in their religion or race or culture.

Religion/Culture gets included because it becomes a trend. Once a trend exists you can make labels across an entire spectrum of people.

This thing about Jewish people is that they've been using the Antisemitism card for nearly a century after the rise of Zionism. If you criticize Israel you're an Anti-Semite. If you criticize a figure of high renown that happens to be Jewish you're an Anti-Semite. You don't even have to specifically name an entity but, mention the "media" and they claim you're an Anti-Semite. Look at Elon Musk's quote regarding the "Who owns the media" and there was backlash against him for being an Anti-Semite. They even attributed him to Henry Ford.

That doesn't change my post, though, does it? The fault lies with the accuser if they attribute a person's religion to their actions. Trend or not.

Trends give us an insight as to what to expect. If the expectation is A and they do A that is a confirmed trend that you can go attribute to their religion/culture. Is it damaging to anyone related to it who may act differently? Yes. But it's a statistic that you can accurately gauge.

We see the same situation in regards to any group. It's why when we see urban blacks we're cautious, we see white people wearing NASCAR goer clothing we expect trashy behavior, and if we see a man dressed with a suit we presume they're a lawyer/businessman/banker. There is no fault on the accuser if the trends and depictions are accurate. There are outliers as I mentioned earlier but, these stereotypes exist in our minds to make the world easier to understand.

The amount of anti Semitic activity in the us has increased in recent years. It’s going so bad that some Synagogues are hiding their times to when they hold prayer in some cities.

Yeah. I mean, probably not a big problem, but it is still around. I probably experience it more on these forums than I do out in public, though. Definitely found more Holocaust deniers around here.

Antisemitism is just another form of LW identity-based grievance industry pablum these days. There is no material group "hatred" or oppression in the U.S. at present. We should all be glad to live in such a country because it is not the norm across the world where real hatred persists.

Wrongs of human and U.S. history perpetuated against this or that immutable groups are cautionary and important for study, but only in truthful context and NEVER as grounds for any political policy in the present. Any discriminatory policy results based on presumed ancient wrongs are unjust and should be immediately abolished in a just society. See for example ALL forms of "affirmative action."

Turning to Jews in particular, there is a distinction to be made between antisemitism and rational responses to Israeli espionage. Oh, you think every developed country in the world isn't involved to some degree in espionage in the U.S.? Including all the mountains of Fake News to the benefit of ALL our enemies AND allies? Espionage is too strong a term? Don't be so naive. Israeli influenced policy detrimental to the U.S. should never be swept under the rug as "antisemitism" any more than policy responsive to Chinese efforts is "racist."

It's not entirely a direct result on their own actions.

Criticism towards Israel and the Jewish people has started to occur far more in the USA due to how easy it is to access information. Decades ago the only source were those in power but, via the internet the people have circumnavigated around it.

In my home state of New York, the government has to direct local police to guard synagogues whenever a swastica is spraypainted in the community, and also during certain times of the year. I'd say that antisemitism is a real problem in America. And it's not just the Jews' own fault like the OP suggests.

So you're Jewish, and you're saying that most antisemitism is due to the way Jews behave? Wow. Just what the world needed: another Jew with disdain for Jews, and who feels comfortable saying it.

Yup. Some are even hiring security guards.

And while we have posters saying that Jews are playing the victim (that right there shows some hostility toward Jews), Jews are more likely to be a victim of a hate crime than any other group.

And do you feel the same way about blacks, playing the racist card?

Yup, it's getting bad. Is that true, more likely to be a victim of a hate crime?
