Actually practicing attorneys have to do 30 hours of continuing education every two years and their yearly licensing fees are doubled..

There are lies, (*)(*)(*)(*)ed lies....and birther lies.....I think Birthers think Americans are stupid enough that if they keep lying that no one knew Obama at Harvard or Columbia that Americans will believe them.

So that leaves us with this question:

Why do Birthers feel a need to lie about this issue?

My theory is that they want to imply that Barack Obama....a black man...couldn't possibly have graduated from Columbia or gotten into Harvard or graduated with honors from Harvard. It is using implication and innuendo instead of overt racism.

 

JEFF, you really are obsessed with calling people racist who basically don't care much for Obama for other reasons. This may in fact be what got him elected in the first place, certainly it wasn't for his experience. "Funny name and did I mention, he's Black", is HIS quote not the birthers and I'm not aware of any other candidate, ever mentioning the obvious. What's worse IMO sir, is that for 3 1/2 years any mention of disagreement with his action/methods or policy has been attacked for being racist. I won't support any form of Socialism, never have and most those that do, in the political arena, have been WHITES....

Not everybody who enters law school does so with the intent of practicing law. There are many careers, both in the private and governmemt sectors, which require people to possess a JD degree for other reasons.
