Is Biden Lying Or Is He Delusional?

After Biden's NCAAP speech last Sunday the White issued nine corrections to his speech. So what do the PF members think? In my opinion I think Biden's head is full of Looney Tunes. We have a president who is almost insane, and I hate saying that. Can he survive the democratic convention? How can he debate Trump?

I have maintained all along that I cannot fathom that Democrats will let him be their nominee. I believe he will be replaced right before the convention, maybe right after the first debate. If he completely bombs the debate it will be an easy decision for them, if he doesn't have any major gaffes it will be a more difficult decision, but poor polling alone is enough for them to replace him.

I dont believe it will be Gavin Newsome because a California Liberal would not play well to middle America. I believe it will be Gretchen Whitmer the governor from Michigan who is wholly unqualified, but a woman is the perfect candidate to put opposite Trump, and they will believe that she can deliver Michigan for them which they desperately need. The fawning media along with the DNC will put her in soft focus camera shots and act like she is a kinder gentler Washington outsider who can get things done.

I hope I am wrong and that Biden refuses and can prevent them from doing so, but somehow I suspect the party will find a way. Their hatred of Trump runs far too deep. Im not saying she would be a shoe in to win, but would be far more formidable then the doddering, confused old man that is Biden.

 

I don't think he's lying. At this point his head doesn't know whether it is 1972 or 2024.

 

They need to give him the SOTU cocktail. That seemed to work fine. Why don't they just keep that stuff going on an IV drip? I'm not even trying to be funny. He was pretty coherent during that (nobody can pitch that much HATE without being ALERT)

 

I think he is lying and the "voices" in his head are actually the ear piece in his ear.... the "voice" sounding strangely like Obama's voice...

 

Interesting but Gretchen 'gestapo' Whitmer only sells in Dearborn and Detroit. She was as awful on covid as Newsome and in some cases worse. Add to that the fake kidnap plot she was part of at least indirectly. But I agree any Biden replacement has to be at least Female and preferably black. Or the Dems lose their iron clad grip on black women over dumping Kamala.

If lying or stating incorrect info makes one "looney tunes" then are you also concerned about Trump running? And let's not pretend Trump hasn't lied or misspoke. Can we see some consistency from you? I would prefer NEITHER Trump nor Biden run. They are both disasters in different ways. See....that's called consistency. That's called NOT being partisan.

 

I am a Michigan resident. Trust me, I despise Whitmer for the same reasons you have stated. She is as divisive as any in the Democrat column. The fact that she was as "awful on Covid as Newsome" is the only reason she is even in the mix. That is what put her on the map in Democrat circles, and being strong in Detroit and Dearborn in light of the Israel situation is exactly what they need to have a hope of winning Michigan which they DESPERATELY need to have any hope of victory nationally.

I dont believe they will stick with Kamala. She would be as hard if not harder to push to victory than would be Biden. I would see them leaving Biden in place before replacing him with Kamala. Obviously there is a fair bit of speculation when predicting it will be Whitmer, but knowing that she is from Michigan and female puts her near the top of the list. Time will tell. I just don't see it being Newsome. If they are putting someone in place, I just dont think a California Liberal would be a wise choice even if he is charismatic.

It will be interesting to see how all of this shakes out.

 

The Democrats will find some way to dump Biden before the convention. My bet will be on a "medical emergency." All it will take will be a bit too much of the stimulent they feed him to get him up for a speech. Biden will have a heart attack or a stroke, and "He will have to sadly withdraw from the presidential race because of a serious illness."

 

I screwed that up. My apologies to the NAACP. At 84 my age-related mistakes makes me qualified to criticize Biden's gaffe.

No you don't you say things like that all the time.

 

Both Biden and Trump make a lot of verbal gaffes (here's an article about some of Trump's). So it seems silly to attack only one of them for doing this. They're both pretty old, but (despite the propaganda) neither has dementia.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) chimed in on X (formerly Twitter) that the Justice Department and FBI under Biden “were planning to assassinate Pres Trump and gave the green light.” She suggested she had warned Trump about it. “What are Republicans going to do about it?” she wrote.

 

Maybe both Biden and Trump are Looney Tunes -- but the facts and data show Trump's policies were better for the country.

 

The big difference is that the WH came out with an admission and corrections. Have the Republicans done that?

 

So let's go with the assumption that they are BOTH looney tunes. Would you prefer Biden's administration running the show in reality, or the administration that Trump says he will install?

 

Yeah wholly agree there as I said in another thread the Dems have saddled themselves with the intersectionality monster and I for one think it's about to bite then in the ass. A Party that is already hemorrhaging minority voters cannot risk losing black women over Kamala Harris, And Nomination blow dry white dude would do exactly that.
