I was all for Feinstein retiring at least 2 yrs ago when it was obvious that she was mentally slipping.
Now with the shingles scenario I've posted (wrongly) that her staff must still want a job so they're keeping the charade going that she's mentally fit.

Now this, which makes total sense.
Not surprising though for either party to do what they can to protect a seat for their chosen one.
