Last summer after three Israelis were kidnapped in the Occupied West Bank, Shin Bet, the Israeli Secret Service, arrested 39 Palestinians, all of whom were innocent of the kidnapping of Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sher and Naftali Fraenkel. Already aware of the deaths of the Israelis, and in defiance of international law, the prisoners were subjected to brutal torture which could not be justified even on the grounds of preventing the deaths of the Israeli victims. Now, as the cases are about to be heard in a special military court, Shin Bet wants the Israeli occupation army to make plea bargains for light sentences in order to avoid releasing information about their torture methods. The Palestinian prisoners are willing to plead guilty to belonging to a resistance group for light sentences and Shin Bet wants the IDF to cut a deal.

Surely the world and his wife know the Israelis use "harsh interrogation methods" (torture) on prisoners?
