Now that is an interesting assertion.

So you are saying we should end the Republican party, since they have been the party of racists since 1968.

I so want to agree with you...

    Seriously, I wish I could, but I can't.

The democrats created the KKK. I thought you knew that. It was their mentality that created the KKK, not the party platform.

Not to start an argument, but I have a question. Do you honestly believe that slavery was abolished and everyone woke up the next day accepting black people?

Racism still exists today and it's been hundreds of years or, in the case of Jews, even longer than that.

Actually...A group including many former Confederate veterans founded the first branch of the Ku Klux Klan as a social club in Pulaski, Tennessee, in 1865. Can you name any specific southern conservative Dems that were part of that group?

Conservative is not a party. It is an opinion that the progressive democrats of the 1800's were conservative but they were not. Democrats wanted slavery to progress and expand.

What slavery? Slavery doesn't exist in the US, so not sure what you're referring to

"Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for Black Americans."

Hahaha...right...and if you had any clue about the history of the political parties you'd know the Dem party in the 1800s was the party of CONSERVATIVES. Or do you believe the south has always been a beacon of liberal/progressivism?
And again....which specific Dem politicians were involved in founding the KKK?

Slavery ended before your grandfather was born.

So all we got are racists, and their home is the Republican party.

Do the current day Democrats run on a campaign of re-instituting race-based slavery?

Lincoln approved of the idea of shipping all black people off to Africa after they were emancipated and Theodore Roosevelt supported eugenics and forced sterilization. Does this mean that Republicans is "the party of eugenics and ethnic cleansing!!!!!!!!!!!!"? (*pearl clutching feigned outrage*) Or.... does it mean that at one point in time, that they were?

Right. It wasn't the mentality of the democrats, it was just natural reflex to create the KKK and Senator Byrd carried the tradition forward.

Sadly- there will always be weak people among us. Adults that failed to become men, still think more as children think.
It is generally true that the democratic politic over history have backed slavery and virtually all the events that protests point to. They also have a history of seeking to buy votes through the promise of taking someone else's money to benefit their supporters- and they side with the mentality of the immature minds that tend to believe that the only reason poor people are poor is that rich people are rich. Thus, they have promoted and perpetuated dependency, weakness, ignorance and hostility to keep and gain power- while they indeed became rich.

How we think rather than what we think, more than anything else, determines who we will be and what our potential is. It determines your strength, your potential for independence, self confidence, success and happiness. Those things require commitment, strong character, strong values and maturity. Such people do not vote for false leadership, for people who actually promote dependence on government and weakness in people. Such politicians actually fear strong independent people, see them as a threat.

That pretty much defines the motivations of the democratic party- to keep you dependent on them; because if you ever wise up- you would be gone, and so would they.
The fact is that this personal strength is something within the capacity of all people, but it can't be granted to anyone- they must find it inside, prove themselves to themselves by cutting the umbilical cord to dependency, to group-think, to blaming society for what they alone can control. When they do, they change their world as they know it, and begin to thrive. Democrats hate that.

However, the dems might have evolved, it was clearly the dems who created the KKK, a mentality which continued right up through Senator Byrd who was a mentor of Hilary. Now they are in complete denial of their own heritage.

And I am out of here. Going to be gone most of the day.

If you look across the south today, the same south that you condemn for their distant democratic past, attitudes have remained the same, but what has changed? They are no longer Democratic, that changed 50 years ago. It is no longer Democrats defending the Southern heritage. It is Republicans. Perhaps that is why Republicans have such difficulty attracting Black voters.

It was then. When democrats lost the election to Lincoln they pitched a hissy fit. Sound familiar?

The irony here is that with the advent of the BLMs movement, those folks protesting are demanding that they get free stuff. No work, no effort, just free stuff, oh, and reparations... but lots of free stuff... It's like they yearn to get back to the plantation. And the super irony here is that they don't seem to understand that this is essentially what they are asking for.

    Hahaha...sure thing. Yup...progressive south...hahaha

Does what sounds familiar? That each political party always throws a hissy fit when their side loses? Yes, that does sound familiar.
