Gun don't bear malice toward anyone; neither does ammo. The entire issue is to try to control people by their choice of weapons...
So if your killer beats you to death with a baseball bat, we ban baseball.
Of course we must already ban knives of any kind.
Pencils are deadly weapons too if you know how to use one.
Gasoline- oh hell yes, we can't have people throwing molotovs or driving cars into crowds.

EVERY squawk about weapons ignores that NO weapon is a murder weapon until A PERSON WITH MURDEROUS INTENT chooses to use it.
That tells me such people fear guns more than they do murderers- and that is utter stupidity.

More people are murdered with the most common weapon there is- than all the rifles of all calibers, brands and styles put together.
That weapon- YOU own. You carry it everywhere you go... It is YOUR FISTS AND FEET.
More people are beaten to death barehanded that killed by all rifles put together.
The common denominator of murder is and always has been the perpetrator, not the weapon they choose.

When a small person is attacked by a larger person- defense is difficult. This is one of the reasons guns exist- to protect yourself from thugs.
The problem is not new; it was real long before guns were invented.

Do you object to murder at all? Or only murder by firearms? Or perhaps- just to anyone having the capacity to defend themselves from murder?

A commission of intelligent lifers would might recommend some form of corporal punishment and release for most first and second offenders -- who have not killed or seriously wounded their victims.

But why would the geniuses who create and run our corrupt criminal justice system want advice from anyone who actually knows exactly how the beast works from the inside out?

High speed lead poisoning works 100% of the time. Not to mention a pistols a hell of a lot easier to carry.

And some people laugh at mace but no one laughs at bullets. As an added bonus the perpetrator won't be around to rape someone else.

There are less victims of "right wing radicalization" every year in the entire country than there are victims of street crime in a hot weekend in just Chicago alone.

Where would money and resources be better spent? Saving the lives of the dozen or so annual victims of "right wing radicals", or saving the THOUSANDS of lives that fall victim to black street crime every single year?

What's more important? The actual people, or your political agenda?
