Ive always considered romans and modern italians to be the same, but maybe I am wrong, I don't know much about that subject in particular. I've got this modern hollywood stereotype of non-italian actors playing romans in my head, from movies like Cleopatra and such (damn good movie too). But their non-italian portrayal doesn't sit right with me.
