Did you know that the US has 714 oil pumps going right now and that Canada has 88. Did you know that the rest of the world COMBINED has 806. Do you like apples?

 

I'm using that as an example to show how easily gas prices can go up. You are acting like the US President's policies don't have the power to affect gas prices, but yet a few platforms shut down from a hurricane increase prices overnight.

 

Yet it's being argued in this very thread by one of your counterparts that the US policies can't possibly have the power to affect oil prices.

Those trucks and tractors would need to be engineered, manufactured, and the grid and infrastructure needs to be in place nationwide for charging. This is no small task and will take decades or more.

Pay attention please. The update and point given were a 45 cent jump in gas prices from the week before and the week before is the invasion so, yeah, it IS a gotcha because it was that simple fact, the invasion that cause the price jump.
