There is nothing new under the sun. When I was in high school, a teacher read an opinion piece about all of the local crime. Parents were worried about their kids safety when they were out and about. They weren't really safe unless escorted by an adult. The list of complaints went on for a good bit and were all too familiar; right up to getting their clothes stolen at the public pool. The kicker was that it was written in something like 200 BC
