Who are you going to take guns away from? If guns that aren't used in crime are taken away, how can you infer that future crime will be abated? If you were going to take guns away from those folks who use them in crimes, how would you accomplish that?

Your position is analogous to because some folks say hateful things, you won't allow freedom to speak. If, as your contention goes, you cannot trust folks with speech, like you have with self defense, you're sliding down the slope to tyranny. I'll use another context, if folks misuse sex, and it results in having to have an abortion, are you going to be willing to allow government to be the arbitrator of sex between the people? And if not, why not. If, as you contend, government is the only arbiter of self defense how would you stance here not be indicative of other civil liberties you aren't willing to discuss?

Some can't, but the loan agreement itself isn't nearly the problem that unrealistic expectations about their chance for success are for high school grads.

There are millions of Americans with debt they can't repay because they didn't succeed in university.

They do in Palos Verdes. In the four cities, the average home price: Rancho Palos Verdes, $1,570,000; Palos Verdes Estates, $2,741,084; Rolling Hills $3,500,000; Rolling Hills Estates, $1,900,000.
You accused teachers of thinking otherwise.

It is for overcharging students for a university education, especially in the liberal arts, and also for telling students they should go to university when they aren't likely to succeed.

Two-thirds of high school grads go to college. We're looking at a lot of people with an IQ under 100 trying to pass a college program.

This is what Copilot had to say about jobs that might be appropriate for a person with an IQ less than 100.

"There are many kinds of jobs that are appropriate for people with an IQ less than 100. IQ is not the only factor that determines one’s suitability for a job. Other factors, such as personality, interests, skills, education, and experience, also play a role. However, some general guidelines for choosing a job based on IQ are:
    • People with an IQ below 70 may have difficulty finding and keeping a job, as they are considered to have a mental disability. They may need more support and supervision from others, and may benefit from vocational training and special education programs. Some possible jobs for them are assembly line worker, janitor, food service worker, or cleaner.
    • People with an IQ between 70 and 85 may have trouble with complex or abstract tasks, but they can perform well in jobs that are routine, concrete, and practical. They may also need some guidance and training, but they can learn from experience and feedback. Some possible jobs for them are warehouse worker, factory worker, cashier, landscaper, or security guard.
    • People with an IQ between 85 and 100 may have average intelligence, but they may struggle with jobs that require high levels of cognitive ability, creativity, or problem-solving. They can do well in jobs that are moderately challenging, varied, and interactive. They may also benefit from further education and skill development. Some possible jobs for them are administrative assistant, bookkeeper, store manager, drafter, or police patrol officer."

So you'd rather spend the money on illegals.
