    The chain of command is the primary way the military maintains order and performs its duties in the most efficient way possible. If a service member behaves in a way that disrupts the chain of command, she could be reprimanded for insubordination. The precise definitions of different types of insubordination are contained in Articles 89-92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). In general, a service member is guilty of insubordination against a superior officer (commissioned, warrant, or non-commissioned) if he assaults, disobeys, or disrespectfully treats that officer, regardless of whether that officer is in the same branch of the military or even within that service member's direct chain of command.

    I guess we need to ignore the fact his boss said he does not follow the chain of command and coworkers were concerned he was a leaker because he has a Purple Heart.

    Donald Trump was impeached and the vote to remove was bipartisan while the vote to acquit was partisan, wasn't it? And the Senators who voted to acquit are now constantly being asked to defend whether they actually believe that he learned a lesson.

    I'm not sure how reporting an unlawful order to a superior who is not the immediate superior "disrupts the chain of command." Similarly, I don't see how it qualifies as "assaulting, disobeying, or disrespectfully treating" the immediate superior.

    How does getting blown up in an road bomb make you credible? Timothy McVeigh served too. Vindman's former commander said he was a political activist in a uniform, he perjured himself during his testimony, and thought his foreign policy views should override the duly elected POTUS. That is insubordination. Good riddance, fatso.

    No one would have ever known Hunter Biden or Joe Biden was mentioned if it hadn't been for the Democrats who used it to plan an impeachment attempt.
