You've been trying to say that for seven years and haven't come close yet.

It was never his charge, and you probably should look up net costs vs gross costs

ABC reports, "Prosecutors in the special counsel's office have presented compelling preliminary evidence that former President Donald Trump knowingly and deliberately misled his own attorneys about his retention of classified materials after leaving office, a top federal judge wrote Friday in a sealed filing.

"U.S. Judge Beryl Howell wrote last week that prosecutors in special counsel Jack Smith's office had made a "prima facie showing that the former president had committed criminal violations," and that attorney-client privileges invoked by two of his lawyers could therefore be voided."

    Trump's lawyers appealed the ruling.

CNN reports, "Former President Donald Trump’s defense attorney Evan Corcoran is scheduled to testify Friday before the grand jury investigating classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago after a new order from a federal appeals court.

"The US DC Circuit Court of Appeals said that Corcoran must provide additional testimony and turn over documents about the former president as part of the criminal investigation into possible mishandling of classified documents.

"The source said Trump’s side is unlikely to appeal to the Supreme Court."

Note: The Appeals Court moved at light speed.

"The announcement from a panel of three judges in the appeals court – less than a day after Trump sought to put Corcoran’s testimony on hold – adds momentum to the special counsel investigation as it seeks to secure evidence that could make or break a federal criminal case against Trump," CNN.

Trump's followers are not aware of any of this.

If that were true, then how dumb would the individuals making claims of Trump committing hundreds of crimes have to be to not get even a single charge of a crime against Trump in 7 years? We aren't talking about a conviction, just a criminal charge.

And to try and get a single charge you have real idiots like the NY DA wanting to charge for a federal crime, where the statute of limitations ran out 2 years ago, that no federal law enforcement will touch, because Stormy Daniels gave a written confession that she never slept with Trump.

Which is why this idiot DA can't get his own grand jury to give him an indictment. Pretty embarrassing.

So either Trump is some kind of super genius, or his accusers are liars. Because nobody could be that dumb. Except maybe the NY DA.

    FALSE
Attorneys don't lose privilege if their client lied to them. They only lose privilege if they knowingly lied to cover up a crime committed by their client or helped their client perpetrate a fraud.

You don't impeach someone unless you can provide evidence of a crime.
Because you can't get a conviction to remove from office without evidence of a crime.
You don't just vote for an impeachment just to get an impeachment as it has no value. It does nothing.
The entire impeachment process and investigations are to find crime against a president you can convict on. you know, things like, High crimes and misdemeanors or is that a new term you didn't know about.
OMG, you guys will say ANYTHING to hide from 7 years of fake accusations and hundreds of fake criminal claims you could never even drum up a charge for.
If I was a Democrat, I would be embarrassed too.

    1) The White House backtracked on this memo 2) You are assuming that all of the documents seized involved Crossfire Hurricane, and there is no evidence of this 3) Even if they were declassified (and there's no evidence they were), it would still be illegal for him to willfully retain them.

You are assuming 1) That the only way the case could have been worthwhile is if the only purpose was to take out Trump and 2) That no money was recouped. Both are very silly assumptions.

How was the money recouped? Did they sell tickets to the hearings?

And you have no idea what this one is because it's sealed but you are going to assume it supports your views without knowing whether it does or not. This is why leftist should be barred from being judges.

They got, what, something like $15 million from Manafort? I'll have to check on the exact number.

Dude, they signed statements saying that they had turned everything over. They had not, in fact, turned everything over. Either the lawyers were lying or Trump lied to the lawyers. This ain't rocket surgery.

The white house did not backtrack on any of it.... in fact it was confirmed by Meadows

And you can't prove the document were or were no crossfires documents... "marked classified" is the best you will ever come up with in any court document..

and the courts in 2012 already decided it was up to the president to determine what he can keep... all documented

He was required to turn them over whether he declassified them or not. And there's no evidence he did so. Think.

This was decided already in 2012 ... so anything they think they have on him is only a political hack job..
the judge ruled Clinton could keep any records he wants... so can Trump... Biden was only a VP
Judge Amy Jackson ruled in 2012 that a president's discretion to declare records "personal" is far-reaching and mostly unchallengeable.

While you're checking, try to find out how much the government spent to prosecute him.

This is why I was asking for the net numbers and not the gross numbers.
