President Joe Biden has been hailing "Bidenomics," but families are experiencing the reality of paying 15% more for their July 4 cookout Tuesday, according to analysis

…coincidentally — the White House did not issue its self-congratulatory claims of cutting costs for families this year.

The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) data, which began annually in 2013, did dip slightly from record highs in 2022, but it is up 15% since the last July 4 under former President Donald Trump…

…"As we all celebrate the holiday, we encourage members of Congress to consider the contributions of the farm bill to our security and independence by ensuring a safe and abundant food supply."

We had this thing called a pandemic. We are doing favorably compared to similar nations both when it comes to growth and when it comes to inflation. Do some things still suck? Sure. But it is dumber than a sack of hammers to blame it on Biden.

Meanwhile, I hope you guys don't let your seething hatred for another party ruin your celebration of the 4th. And, hey, at least Trump's attempts to overthrow democracy failed! So at least there is something there to celebrate as well.

Yep, just going to ignore the part about "did dip slightly from the record highs in 2022"

Trump was President when he completely mishandled the COVID/Coranavirus emergency. The cost of that screw up? The rampant inflation that gripped this country during the first two years of Biden's presidency. To be fair, even if the emergency had been handled absolutely correctly, there probably would have still been inflation as the government pumped money into the economy to try and prevent a recession or even a depression. But it would not have been as bad as it was if not for Trump.

Now the US economy is HUGE and like any huge thing, it does not turn on a dime. An aggressive rate hike policy by the Federal Reserve appears to have gotten inflation under control. As the story says, there has been a dip in prices since last year...but for the anti Biden people good news during the Biden presidency is not allowed. So we get a headline (and more to the point) a thread here like this.

Yet Biden is still polling higher than trump did and is beating him in virtually all polls being conducted.

Biden may suck in some areas but the trash republicans keep putting up is just sad.

    Thanks Joe!

Biden’s regulations costing Americans $10K per household: watchdog

A raft of regulations enacted by the Biden administration is pinching Americans’ wallets to the tune of nearly $10,000 per household as of the end of last year, according to a budget watchdog group.

Should Biden’s regulatory trajectory keep pace with that of his former boss, Barack Obama, the cost will skyrocket to roughly $60,000 per household by the end of Biden’s possible second term in office, the Committee to Unleash Prosperity estimated in a recent report that measured “current and expected future costs.”

Gonna take a guess and say most people stuffing their faces with ribs, burgers, hot dogs, coleslaw and corn don’t care about that right now.

Newsmax forgot inflation is worldwide and that Joe Biden's policies have actually made it less here than most other places.

Thanks Joe, you've done well for us.

Almost certainly untrue or bankruptcies would be through the roof. How many people do you know with an extra $10,000 laying around?

Just to put this discussion in perspective ...

    2583-1469747001.png

Inflation has been a problem for decades. But Biden, as President, has to take ownership of the inflation rate at present. Just as Trump
had to take ownership of the worst GDP average of any modern President.

Biden’s regulations and his war on oil have increased inflation. What happened to the inflation reduction act? The only thing that costs less these days is Bud Light.,

Lol, no sir. $1.77 per gallon. A few local gas stations in my area were running 4 of July specials.

It's part of the plan. The Democrats want to ban BBQ pits.

Well , Trump 4th July was canceled. $15 more is very little to pay to celebrate 4th of July.

I'm glad you didn't let your distaste for trans people ruin your holiday. You should try doing that every day. No one is forcing you to be offended.

So if any stats go in a positive direction then “oh thank you Biden omigosh you’re doing such a great job!” But if any stats stay terrible or get worse then “it’s the pandemics fault Bidens blameless”

That must be nice to live in your fantasy world of anything good is credited to people I like and anything bad doesn’t count.
