I suppose this is what modern racism really looks like these days. Thanks for the most excellent example.

Why is it you folks just can't stand a black man of humble roots who worked for his appointment and actually has an intellect? That he might not cower to the democratic party? Is that what makes folks like you so mad? Is that why you try to rewrite history with ms Brown? Laughable.

The topic isn't me. I'm just naturally this awesome, I don't even have to work at it.

Some of the Left's constant slander and attacks on the institutions that undergird our constitutional system of ordered liberty are blowing up in their pinched self-righteous faces, as well they should.

HIS LOWEST APPROVAL RATE SO FAR: Biden approval falls below every modern president.

“Former Presidents Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Gerald Ford had lower average approval ratings at some stage early in their presidencies, but Biden has caught up, and today’s average was the first for which he was below all presidents since Truman, a potentially troubling trend as Democrats ready for the midterm elections.”

    HISTORIC!
"Citing approval polling dating back to Harry S. Truman in 1945, FiveThirtyEight said that no president has been below, or even equal to, Biden’s average of 40.9% on Day 490 of their presidency."

"Biden's net approval dips to lowest of presidency: @FiveThirtyEight Joe Biden is now the Least Popular President (net approval) at this point in office Biden's net approval is 4 points lower than Trump's at this time in office."

"Likely driving voters away from Biden is his inaction on inflation, high gas prices, and the crashing stock market."

Justice Thomas is right and slandering his wife will not improve the Left's political fortunes. Here is a thought, try running a campaign that isn't hatred and threat based and uplifts rather than slanders.

We all know why some of the racists on the Left hate the Thomas'

You made it about what your job is, you introduced the topic. So, what's your job as related to this site?

You're off topic. Thanks for conceding that you have no useful point to share at this time.

Justice Thomas is a staunch proponent of fairness, constitutionalism and the rule of law. God Bless him for calling out the creeps that continually attack the foundations of our civil society. And clearly he is not one that will be bullied, nor is his lovely bride that you groundlessly slandered by claiming that she leaked the Alito decision.

You made the topic about your job when you brought it up. No?
So is Ginni the nutcase leaker and what's your job as related to the site? To deflect and conflate post?

You'll have to try harder than that to turn this into a race issue.

So far, your attempt is just pathetic.

Maybe you should try addressing the actual issues instead.

Why? Y'all don't ever ask for actual issue oriented conversations, you just head directly to the racism homophobe buttons. But just this once, you want us to actually take you seriously... LOL

The real issue seems to be that just this time, and only in this context do you suddenly care about a recusal. Kegan hasn't recused herself from like any of her cases that she adjudicated as AG, but here, you're out for blood. Try some consistency then, and perhaps folks might take you more seriously. As for Clarence, the left, even Biden himself have been pretty clear about this "uppity" you know what from his initial nomination. Do you want the contextual quotes again?

The OP certainly doesn't provide sufficient context for the concern, so we are left with, democrats... y'all racists again. And if you really want to explain how Senate Republicans asking ms Brown hard questions was racist and all, you really need to be ready when y'all start attacking a conservative member of the court to hear the same criticism. Just sayin.

    Thomas whined about politicization.

THAT is what brought up that subject.

Thomas's failure to recuse was a clear politicization of the courts.

Plus, the political pressure his wife put toward defeating our democracy is a clear politicization as well.

You, on the other hand, have NOTHING.

Justice Thomas has stated objectives the SC should have in driving an agenda of eliminating rights that Americans have enjoyed for a LONG time.

For example, one of his stated objectives is the end of legal contraception.

Plus, his wife has used legal time from Thomas's office to promote her agenda of ending democracy.

This guy is MONUMENTALLY out of touch with his position. And, the very idea of a person in high office abetting the ongoing assault on American democracy should be an impeachable offense. In fact, why is it not treason???

No he doesn't. While they cannot be legitimately anchored in the fiction of "Substantive" Due Process, as he points out, if you actually read his concurrence, they very well may be properly anchored in other parts of the Constitution that are not fiction. Further, national and/or state legislation is certainly capable of providing these rights. Are you suddenly unaware that we have representative legislatures that can pass laws?
Fake news. Read the actual decision don't just repeat to us what Keith Olbermann claims.
    No she hasn't.
Fake News, he is fully in touch with his position and monumentally so.
More fake news, I had forgotten how unusual your claims get as the day progresses, perhaps we should take this up earlier in the day.
Why did you stop at three question marks? Treason is the ONLY crime defined for the entire United States in the US Constitution, quote the text for us, and then explain how Justice Thomas' perfectly proper and legitimate actions fits the constitutional description.

He needs to be impeached along with each justice that lied in their hearings. Then the house needs to implement the Wyoming rule and national election reform.

You do realise that the peak in border crossings in recent years was during the reign of Donald the Turd….?

The whole idea of their term of office being permanent was to separate them from politics.

That has been a central theme of how the SC is to operate.

They have the duty of addressing cases that are before them, based solely on the constitution.

What Thomas is doing is nothing like that. He is broadcasting an aggressive and radically conservative agenda for the court.

The court conservatives have overthrown Roberts as Chief Justice and is choosing a politically inspired direction in being a force of change.

    That is NOT THEIR JOB.

I think we can all agree that no SC employee, including the Justices, should be releasing decisions ahead of time. I think we can agree that doing that only serves to gin up public pressure. And I think we can agree that the SC must be responsible only to their interpretation of the Constitution and never to the wishes or pressures of one political side or the other. It is crucial to our system of government that the SC not become polluted by outside pressures.

And I will tell you that I am far less concerned about the political activism of the spouse of a SC Justice. They are still American citizens, after all, and we certainly don’t complain about the political activism of spouses of members of Congress or the President.

I am far more concerned about the abject corruption of Congress. I am also more concerned about the conflict of interest we see when a Vice President or President is in business with our global competitors (both Trump and Biden).

Writing off Gini Thomas as an American is just plain nonsense.

She used here position and connections to assault our democracy by attempting to coerce state officials to act against election results, defeating our democracy.

She belongs in jail, even if she had nothing to do with the SC.

And besides the political activism and criminal behavior of the wife of a SC justice, that same justice has made statements concerning using the SC as a political force for an agenda he favors.

The level of politicization in that is overwhelming.

Now if more people can come to that conclusion, we can get this ball rolling. Thomas Jefferson was the first to elucidate that the SCOTUS was a mistake because he knew we'd be here.

Congressional panel rubber stamps the military promotions and its not just Generals and Admirals, but even O5, which is a Lieutenant Colonel. It does not mean the officers are politicians though.

As the the SC, it has never been as political as it is now, and I think they leaked the Roe ruling in purpose to give people some time to digest it before it became official.
