I fully agree with the statement made by Barzani, Kurds from Turkey should go to the Europeans and US to talks about the Kurdish issues and make them aware of their requests.
I suggest instead you all move into Norther Iraq and launch a war of independence there. The Government is far weaker than the Turkish one and it's an actual possibility. I'd also try and take some of Assad's land too. Abandon Turkey to the barbarians and build with what you can grab from the weaker States. Might makes right in the Middle East. Claim what you can hold, and hold it with your life. Eventually you'll be free.
oh when did he make these statements ? i also believe fighting turkey is not gonna gain the kurds what they seek , has to be change of strategy that way PKK fighters can get rid of the omen a "terror" org.
It was mentioned in an interview with Adil Kurt published on Rudaw: http://www.rudaw.net/english/news/turkey/4024.html The problem is that Turkey is not letting any Kurdish politician leave the country.
A state in Iraq is far more viable, also ally yourself with Israel and US after that to ensure you will not be crushed by Arab aggression later.
kurds in semi-state northeren enclave are only wasting their time been a country within a country is not good enuff , we all saw how central baghdad kept silent over iran and turkey's bombardments of KRG , the only thing is hanging them together is the "isolated kurdish areas" that were done by Saddam , KRG needs to hurry up which they are doing so at the moment and get these areas back if peace fails then send in the army , we have all the proof we need to show to UN that they are kurdish regions and their demographics were played with in 1968 . kurds in western kurdistan (syria) need to seek either autonomy or federation . in iran the sunnis only want to be attached with KRG the shia ones rather stay and its up to them no forcing here . and they should be able to since they are native to their lands and only kurds inhabit the Kurdish regions by 99% despite all the killing oppression and genocides .
President Donald Trump certainly seems to have the courage to back the Kurds up in their desire for their own independent nation.
