Considering that is was in SW Little Rock ghetto area, I doubt that this was a Trump supporter, sounds more like a Hillary guy.

"We got a black city manager and black police chief who can make a difference, but not one time have they held a press conference saying look here, this is the expectations of our city," said Reverend Johnson.

Johnson, along with others claimed the city is split. They added police need to be more aware of the violence and address the issues in the Southwest portion of the city.

Another plea for needless and useless gun control supported by another fallacious appeal to emotion.

I guess we'll never know for sure until the capture him and investigate his background. :)

You are right. so why did you make the ridiculous claim that he probably supports Trump?
As a shooting in the slums, it is more reasonable to speculate that he is a democrat. But like you said, we don't know yet.

Chuck, I don't believe it's a ridiculous claim. The OP was giving his opinion and I countered with an opposite viewpoint. Right away you speculate that the shooter was a democrat, but you have to consider that he could have been a law-abiding republican (republicans are allowed to live in ghettos as I'm sure you'll admit) who happened to lose it on that particular day and used his legally CCW to fire at the woman in the car.

On the other hand the shooter could have been a law-abiding independent who happened to lose it on that particular day and used his legally CCW to fire at the woman in the car.

Like I said, we'll never know for sure unless the shooter is arrested (captured) and investigated.

I'll make it easy for you: no more gun control. Reverse the gun control that is already in place. More guns = less crime.

You can present your individual cases in an attempt to muddy peoples thinking by evoking emotion and thereby try to gain support for some sort of gun ban, but it's not going to work. People have gotten smart over the past 8 years, they aren't so easy to fool anymore.

I suggest you go back through this thread and see who was first to speculate on the political affiliation of the shooter. You cast the first stone.

I can say with confidence that it was not a legal CCW shooting. We are all taught the procedure when take our CCW class. To not follow the protocol can make you look guilty. Those who must use their firearm in self defense do not run, they call the police immediately. Again, you are speculating with no evidence.

Then why did the people approve more gun control in three states by referendum in the last election. LOL

    Very sad story.
I can't wait to hear which gun law you believe would have stopped this tragedy.

Perhaps you should actually answer the question that was presented to you, pertaining to precisely how the NRA was in any way responsible for this event.

They lobby to prevent gun control. Good enough for me.

Post # 8 cast's the "first stone" as you put it.

Chuck, aside from the likelihood that you were correct in that it was not a legal CCW shooting, both everything you and I say in here on this thread for the most part is speculation. We'll have to wait until the shooter is arrested and the investigation completed before we all really have all the facts.

Then you do not have any actual proof to back up your assertion that the NRA is somehow responsible and connected to this incident. Therefore your statement is of a libelous nature.

Owning a firearm is a legally recognized and protected constitutional right. Using a firearm to commit a crime is not. Unless you can actually demonstrate where the NRA has gone on record as advocating the commission of crimes, you have nothing.

It was mainly the big unions that run las vegas and are Democrat supporters. Lots of low information gun owners think that if they agree or support a "reasonable" step, the gun banners will be satiated and stop pushing for other restrictions. Nothing can be further from the truth as the gun owners in California, MD, NY, etc have found out

Post #8 wasn't me. #8 has nothing to do with political affiliation.
    However post #36 was you.

Then you have added absolutely nothing of relevance to this discussion. Perhaps it is simply time for you to shut up.

As has been explained previously, such is simply not the case.

Based on the number of posts that have been removed in recent time, it is quite clear that yourself is the one in need of time away from the forums.
