May not be a happy ending if the parent cannot get in. A lot of them are from Honduras which was the Obama/Clinton era state department disaster that led to the US helping affirm a right wing pro-Wall Street coup over a left-wing anti-Wall Street government. Many are also from Guatemala which has been a nightmare country since before I was born. If those parents couldn't get in before, they probably won't be eligible now

 

Excellent but it would be better to stop the illegal immigration. Then these problems don't occur.

Have you seen this? It could have been helpful for the parents that got turned away.

 

What was the idea of the immigrants having to give up the children and sent back where they came from? I found this to be insane. Parents and children need not be seperated at the border.

 

Send them both back
Detain them both
Detain the adult and place the child as a ward if the state

Aren't many other options.
