IMO the best way to lead is by example. All the left wing liberal politicians that dont want the people to have guns should give up all their body guards that have guns. Or at least see to it that their body guards dont have guns on them.
Have you ever noticed that every time there's a shooting some lefty political commentator calls for more gun control legislation before the bodies are even cold, then the VERY next day it comes out that the perpetrator broke numerous gun control laws already on the books?
Some how the gun grabbers have never come up with the idea on how to get guns away from the most dangerous, the criminals. How come?
