No, they care deeply. I'm not American and I know people who are completely obsessed with Trump, Brexit, and all manner of foreign matters. The same people who claim to care deeply about womens rights .. yet who never mention honour killings or FGM (which shows just how much they really care .. ie, not at all).

And FTR, 'bringing in refugees' is not even remotely fair. Fair, would be sending aid to them, once they've removed themselves to a near neighbour and away from immediate danger.

No. You got it right, but apparently by accident. This is no one else's business, this is a voluntary obligation for those that agree to it. Leftwing pansies for example probably think hell week is cruel and unusual punishment, but, those that want to push themselves sign up for it all the same and it's nobody else's business. You don't like it, go to school somewhere else, join some other club, participate in some other gathering of your choice. Mixed Martial arts the same. You sign up for that and you agree that your instructor can beat your ass any time he thinks it's necessary.
