Has anyone noticed that the Left has a tendency to want to borrow money, but then not want to pay back the money that they borrowed?

I see this in multiple areas, with different issues: government spending, inflation, student loan debt.

I actually notice the opposite in government spending. Both sides want to increase spending, for different reasons, but only the left is willing to increase taxes to pay for their spending.

As I recall, it was the GOP that didn't want to raise the debt ceiling this year stopping the government from paying its bills.

Trump added $6.7 trillion to the debt between 2017 and 2020, a 33% increase. WHO is adding to the debt and doesn't want to pay it back? From here it looks like they have an (R) after their names.

I have noticed that the Right has wanted to do this since the Reagan administration.

I have a simple question..... Where is the money supposed to come from for Democrats brilliant plan to just forgive student loan debt?

Why don't they forgive medical debt instead? Going to college is a choice but cancer is not.

I agree with you there. There are countries where college and post graduate education is free, but one must pass tests and perform well at previous levels of education to qualify.

    Not so clear cut.

Me thinks you had better check some actual data.
