    A few small corrections;

    1) the Coalition of the Gulf War was specifically held together by a promise that it was only to kick Saddam out of Kuwait, not invaded and occupy Iraq. Otherwise the other Arab nations like Syria and Saudi Arabia wouldn't have supported it.

    2) Saddam invaded Kuwait in August 1990. Desert Shield and Desert Storm was the American-led Coalition response.

    3) The 2003 Iraq War was a preemptive invasion of Iraq based on the premise that he had WMD's and was going to use them against the West.

True, but it would have been an impossible job anyway because of the eons of inter-sectarian hatreds and their propensity for shedding blood . . . even blood from women and children without a second thought. The extremists are literally insane and the west will never understand their psyches, so unless they threaten wider ramifications we should just leave them alone, hoping that they'll all eventually kill each other (which is precisely what they want to do, so who are we to try and stop them?), and stay away from the area whilst they get on with it.

That was merely a few containers of nerve gas which he used against the villagers of Halabja, whereas in my book WMD per se means enough nerve, chemical and bio substances, with maybe a nuclear device or two as well, to launch attacks against entire countries.

Did she not claim Trump didn't know her husbands name? And didn't Trump say his name during the call? She lied.

So the gas attacks on subways and trains isn't a problem for you?

Can you please share the audio of the call with us? I don't think anyone else here heard it as you must have. Thanks in advance.

Yet you know everything about the call to claim Trump lied about everything.

So you never heard the recording of his call? Neither did I.

I did hear Sarah Huckabee Sanders explain why Trump didn't use the Sergeant's name and called him "guy". I also heard General Kelly explain why Trump used the "he knew what he signed up for" comment. I guess they were both lying.

If you want an answer to that, put some context into it will you please?

Sorry, I forgot that not everyone is as old as me. Back in 1995 a sarin gas attack on a Tokyo subway killed 12 people and sickened thousands. Yes, a gas attack is a WMD and it doesn't have to be on an entire country.

that was actually quite modest and measured considering what media whoring clown she is. You fear Trump's Kelly's and the Electorate's patriotism.

New York Times: Alarmingly, Perhaps Even Chillingly, General Kelly Seems to Share Trump's Patriotism

The Free Beacon's Elizabeth Harrington picks up on this scarifying discovery from the Paper of Refuse.

The Times' Peter Baker's latest profile on Kelly makes the general appear as a wolf in sheep's clothing. "Pitched as Calming Force, John Kelly Instead Mirrors Boss's Priorities," the headline declared.

"For all of the talk of Mr. Kelly as a moderating force and the so-called grown-up in the room, it turns out that he harbors strong feelings on patriotism, national security, and immigration that mirror the hard-line views of his outspoken boss," Baker warns.

The New York Times seems to be admitting, after the fact, that the Obama Administration was blissfully untainted by all this patriotism and strong feelings about national security.

A little late, but better than never.

    Lying for Trump isn't patriotic...

Have you jumped on the latest conspiracy theory? A hardright website is claiming LaDavid Johnson was a deserter.

You besmirch the high character of General Kelly, a Gold Star Father, your slander reflects on you, not him.

Kelly is a true patriot. I don't know what happened with his recollection of Wilson's comments, but at worst, he's guilty of having a lapse of memory. There is no way he'd purposely make that up.

What's more important, Congreswoman Wilson was exposed as a dishonest racist, and a political opportunist of the worst kind. First, she shamlessly politicized the death of a fallen soldier. Then, she goes into race baiting mode, claiming dishonesty that "empty barrel" is a racist term, and declaring the White House is filled with White Supremists. Only a person completely lacking moral and ethical standards Is capable of this behavior.

    Vulgar? Check!
    Shrill? Check!

You folks seem very frustrated that the folks you called "bitter clingers" "irredeemable" and "deplorable" no longer want to be represented by you. Whodathunkit?

San Francisco Chronicle's Sister-Site Justifies Death Threats Against EPA Head Scott Pruitt

This article is by Mark Morford, the guy who swooned about "The Lightworker."

Serious question: Don't people set the Rules of Engagement for themselves?

If you justify death-threats, don't you implicitly invite such for yourself?

I don't see any moral justification this guy would have for complaining about death threats, just as Antifa has no moral justification for complaining that someone socks them in their smelly heads
