"Atheist religion"; great example of oxymoron.

"The common word for circumference is qav. Here, however, the spelling of the word for circumference, qaveh, adds a heh (h).

In the Hebrew Bible, the scribes did not alter any text which they felt had been copied incorrectly. Rather, they noted in the margin what they thought the written text should be. The written variation is called a kethiv; and the marginal annotation is called the qere.

To the ancient scribes, this was also regarded as a remez, a hint of something deeper. This appears to be the clue to treat the word as a mathematical formula.

    Numerical Values

The Hebrew alphabet is alphanumeric: each Hebrew letter also has a numerical value and can be used as a number.

The q has a value of 100; the v has a value of 6; thus, the normal spelling would yield a numerical value of 106. The addition of the h, with a value of 5, increases the numerical value to 111. This indicates an adjustment of the ratio 111/106, or 31.41509433962 cubits. Assuming that a cubit was 1.5 ft.,3 this 15-foot-wide bowl would have had a circumference of 47.12388980385 feet.

This Hebrew "code" results in 47.12264150943 feet, or an error of less than 15 thousandths of an inch! (This error is 15 times better than the 22/7 estimate that we were accustomed to using in school!) How did they accomplish this? This accuracy would seem to vastly exceed the precision of their instrumentation. How would they know this? How was it encoded into the text?" Will less than 15 thousands should work for modern engineering?(yeah.. I know, you will explain this away, the father of lies will approve. There is nothing that will Prove the existence of God to you geniuses, that will be up to faith and the Grace of God

So your saying the bible is in error and the correct value is in the margin?

You think that uttering a magic spell will alter what is written in the bible, how does that work?

And yet modern engineers can only take a swag at how things were built during the biblical period - and modern engineering cannot duplicate it either.

The following are undeniable irrefutable FACTS.

    1. There is zero credible reproducible scientific evidence for the existence of any "supreme being", "creator" or "god".

    2. Theists PRETENDING that Atheism is a "religion" does NOT make it a religion.

    3. Christianity is LOSING followers.

    4. Unaffiliated is now the 2nd largest "religion" in America and it is also the fastest growing.

Facts are often perceived as insolent, not my problem.
And I was pointing out that to allow the mind to get far enough to put that phrase together is to swerve away from any possibility of intelligent criticism of anything I said. You're welcome.

There is zero credible reproducible scientific evidence for the NON existence of any "supreme being", "creator" or "god".
Sure, very simple actually, one religion believes lbgt is fine and dandy and the other religion believes its not.
Thats not a real difficult concept. Is it?
Yeh they doi for a while, people usually go back when they get older.
    same goes.
Like it or not, its a fact: There is zero credible reproducible scientific evidence for the NON existence of any "supreme being", "creator" or "god".

Ok, this forum is a discussion forum, but that discussion involves debate and 90% of the discussion here is debate.

If facts matter, then you should know this:

Throughout the history of mankind, the masses have proven to be wrong in virtually every case. Your opinion of credible is not a fact. If atheism were not a religion, they wouldn't give a rat's rear what I believe or disbelieve. They aim to make converts. The fact is that atheists have come on this thread and declared their belief in secular humanism. The United States Supreme Court has opined in orbiter dicta that secular humanism had the effect of a religion.

I don't care if the masses don't believe. Christianity never was a world religion. That is why I do not argue with people over it. If they are called to search for the truth, then they will inquire. Atheists only care about disproving that a Creator exists. They do not want to engage in any civil discussion to explore possibilities. Their motto seems to be, don't confuse me with facts; my mind is already made up. That being the case, all a discussion to present the real facts does is to piss each other off and not make any progress. The bottom line to atheism is that they cannot explain how you can get something from nothing and no amount of word salad changes that. Those are real facts.

The conformal cyclic cosmology (CCC) is a cosmological model in the framework of general relativity, advanced by the theoretical physicist Roger Penrose.[1][2][3] In CCC, the universe iterates through infinite cycles, with the future timelike infinity of each previous iteration being identified with the Big Bang singularity of the next.[4] Penrose popularized this theory in his 2010 book Cycles of Time: An Extraordinary New View of the Universe.

As I have pointed out to you before it is simply not true that all Atheists claim something came from nothing, the above is a very plausible explanation. Of course the truth is that neither I, you or Roger Penrose know for sure. The only honest answer is "I do not know"

The honest answer is, we don't have a definitive answer and both sides have to accept some things on faith.

From my limited experience it is arguing over the same points with neither side conceding to single point their fellow poster brings to the table. If you argue the same points every day, what progress do you make?

How is " I do not know" accepting anything on faith?

Some people just like to argue, even if they don't persuade anybody. I also learn a lot. If you don't like debating, this forum is not the place for you. I suggest you find a formal debate team, a discussion forum that specializes in your viewpoint (liberal, conservative, Christian, atheist, etc), or safe non-political chat.

So many fallacies all in one post!

The only thing you got HALF right is the SCOTUS decision but because you are taking it OUT OF CONTEXT you are wrong about it. For the purposes of the Law of the Land Atheism has the identical rights to religions BECAUSE there is NO Freedom OF Religion WITHOUT Freedom FROM Religion hence Atheism is the RIGHT to be free FROM any religious beliefs. That does NOT make atheism into a religion. It just UPHOLDS the right to Freedom FROM Religion.

Your factless sweeping generalizations do not alter the FACTS that I provided one iota.

I made no attempt to "disprove" the existence of your "creator" because the ONUS rests entirely on those who believe to provide credible reproducible scientific evidence for the existence of their imaginary "creator".

The "possibilities" like the Fallacy of Pascal's Wager are little more than desperation on the part of theists. They just give false hope to those of wavering faith that they "betting" on the "winning side". If that is what it takes for them to prop up their beliefs then sobeit, I feel no compunction to disabuse of their beliefs irrespective as to how the came to them.

The theist FALLACY of "something from nothing" is based upon the ERRONEOUS ASSUMPTION that the universe did not exist at some point in time. Just as there is ZERO credible reproducible scientific evidence for their imaginary "creator" there is ZERO credible reproducible scientific evidence that there was ever NOTHING at all.

Theists cannot refute the FACTS that are science based because their beliefs are based upon their FAITH in their superstitions. No one expects them to be able to do that and besides themselves no one cares that they can't either.

The Facts still matter and that is not going to change.

    Have a nice day!

but thats not what you said.
Agnostics (people who do not know) simply state there is no evidence on EITHER side. Anyone that holds the opinion theists have an 'imaginary friend' holds a position of atheist.

Only people who know believe theists have 'imaginary' friends, not agnostics. Whats up with that?
